Hi! I’m Maddie, a current PhD student based in the Tulsa area with a strong background in animal care and behavior. I’ve always loved working with animals, and I have a wide range of hands-on experience. After college, I worked as a veterinary technician intern, where I gained experience handling dogs and cats, monitoring their health, and supporting their overall well-being. I also spent a year teaching marine science to kids, which strengthened my patience, attentiveness, and problem-solving skills. My current PhD research focuses on animal behavior, so I bring a deeper understanding of how animals think, communicate, and respond to their environment. I use this knowledge to make sure pets feel comfortable and stress-free while you’re away. I have lifelong experience caring for dogs and cats, including walking, playtime, basic training, and maintaining clean, safe environments. I especially enjoy incorporating enrichment and play to keep pets both mentally and physically active.
