Pet care experience

Hi! I’m Maddie, a current PhD student based in the Tulsa area with a strong background in animal care and behavior. I’ve always loved working with animals, and I have a wide range of hands-on experience. After college, I worked as a veterinary technician intern, where I gained experience handling dogs and cats, monitoring their health, and supporting their overall well-being. I also spent a year teaching marine science to kids, which strengthened my patience, attentiveness, and problem-solving skills. My current PhD research focuses on animal behavior, so I bring a deeper understanding of how animals think, communicate, and respond to their environment. I use this knowledge to make sure pets feel comfortable and stress-free while you’re away. I have lifelong experience caring for dogs and cats, including walking, playtime, basic training, and maintaining clean, safe environments. I especially enjoy incorporating enrichment and play to keep pets both mentally and physically active. When you book with me, you can expect regular photo updates and clear communication so you always know how your pet is doing. I’m also happy to follow any specific routines or requests to make sure your pet feels right at home. I’d love to meet you and your pet!

Made was absolutely wonderful with our senior pup, Kymba! We couldn't have asked for a better experience with Made! Kymba is an older dog, and it was so reassuring to see how comfortable and natural Made was around her. It was clear Kymba was in talented hands. Kymba seemed so comfortable and safe with Made, which gave us complete peace of mind while we were away for three days. Made was incredibly reliable with scheduling and kept us updated throughout Kymba's stay. What really stood out was how thoughtful she was—she checked in with us to see if we needed anything else or had any concerns. That kind of attentiveness means everything when you're trusting someone with your senior fur baby. We came home to a happy, well-cared-for pup, and that's all we could ask for. We will definitely book with Made again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy, caring dog sitter, especially if you have an older dog who needs that extra gentle touch!

Madeline was an absolute gem! She stayed at our home for three nights, looking after our two furry babies. Not only did she take them on long walks and played with them in the backyard, but she also ensured our home was well taken care of in our absence. Highly recommended!
