My name is Madeline Leonard. I am experienced with all breeds and sizes of dogs and cats and have been caring for them since I was a young child. I worked at a boarding and daycare facility for 5 years and was animal safety and care certified. I am also comfortable giving a wide variety of medications. I work remotely 3/5 days a week and love caring for dogs and cats. I care deeply about making sure they get the best care possible and have lots of fun while their owners are away. She did a great job and took good care of our fur babies. She sent us videos and pictures too. Nothing was out of place in the house, as we had her stay over night with them while we were gone.
Maddie was outstanding with my two cats. In the past I have kenneled them locally, and they have not done well. They would not eat, and were very stressed out due to the change in environment. Both cats are generally introverts, but they did come out and interact with Maddie when she made her visits. She also sent pictures and reported on how they were eating Will definitely utilize Maddie again when I travel! I would highly recommend Maddie!
Maddy is probably the one I trust most to watch my dogs whenever we need someone to dogsit. I've had a lot of dogs over the years, all with their own odd quirks, special needs, diets, medications, etc, and Maddy has excelled at keeping all of their individual needs in mind. Sometimes I think she knows their schedules even better than I do! She's done great with my soft, squishy, timid dogs who are nervous around almost everyone as well as my dogs who can be...well, total jerks sometimes! I would recommend Maddy for anyone I know with no hesitation. Whatever your specific pets need, they're certain to have it done.

Schedule
I work remotely 3/5 days a week so I am available for boarding Thursday-Tuesday. If your pet is comfortable being left in a crate during a normal work day, I am open to boarding on Wednesdays and Thursdays as well.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a large fenced in back yard and 3 dogs of my own. My largest is shared with my parents so is frequently not at my house, but all three are friendly and neutral with other dogs. I have several baby gates set up within my home to keep my pets separate from guests until proper introductions can be done and everyone is comfortable with each other.

A typical day
Since I work from home most days, dogs have access to lots of potty breaks and play sessions in the yard. My own dogs like playing fetch and frisbee and I would love to play with your dog as well! I live in a neighborhood with paved sidewalks so regularly take the pups on neighborhood strolls.

- It’s important to me that all dogs in my home are comfortable in a crate (dogs will not be crated regularly throughout the day, but I prefer dogs to sleep in a crate when I cannot supervise them), are non destructive, and neutral with other dogs.
