I grew up with a lot of pets. Dogs, cats, fish, birds, and for the last 3 years I've been doing pet care along with child care for a well respected small company in Northern MN. I love working with animals and I'm very good at taking care of them, whether that's short term, long term, or just for a day.

Madeline was a great dog sitter! She was communicative and very respectful of our home. We would absolutely work with her again.
Maddie took excellent care of my four pets and house. The animals were happy and healthy when I returned. Maddie is patient and kind with them. She is responsible, responsive to messages, and very competent.
Madeline had left some of her personal items here. There were dishes not put away, trash in the office, and it smelt like pee really bad.. we found fresh and dried pee everywhere when we got home. We were very confused and disappointed. I had found pee on my quilt in my bedroom and on the carpet there too. It made us feel that our puppy was left alone/unattended for long periods when we wrote to put her in her pen if she wasn’t going to be watched carefully. I will not be using her again.
She treated my pets well. The only thing I really wasn’t happy with was she left my apartment unlocked for about four hours, I live in a public skyway and had a panic attack over the safety of my pets and all my belongings. There was a mail drop she could have used to leave the keys when she left, but instead of reaching out to me when she couldn’t put it in the slot she just left my apartment unlocked and didn’t inform me until a few hours later. Unfortunately I will not be using her again for this reason.

Schedule
I'm currently not working outside of pet sitting, and I try to be very active so daily walks are a must have along with trips to the park and indoor play time. I keep a consistent sleep schedule so I can easily cater to the schedule of your animals.

I live in a townhouse community near a lake with a walking trail and a large open field perfect for longer walks with the pups! When I'm in a clients home, I will communicate with you first to learn if you have a schedule for the pets you'd like me to follow. Then I will make sure their needs are met and have plenty of play time in and outside so they get their exercise in between naps and cuddles.

A typical day
I love making days with me extra fun for the pets I watch. Obviously right now it's cold and snowy outside so walks won't be too excessive but frequent and still enjoyable for the doggos so we can get all the energy outside before coming in to relax. We will probably spend a lot of time playing fetch or other toy based games inside while I cook, bake, or do crafts.
