Title: Complete negligence, abandonment, and medical distress. NEVER HIRE MADELINE!!! Madeline should not have job privileges on Rover, let alone be trusted with living animals. I booked her to watch my two dogs from June 20th to June 28th, 2026. Halfway through the booking, she completely abandoned her responsibilities, demanding we pick them up or let Rover displace them with strangers. She did this knowing damn well we were deep in Lake Powell with next to no cell service. I only caught her messages by pure luck when catching a stray LTE signal on a boat. Because neither I nor Rover could find an immediate replacement from the middle of a lake, we were forced to leave our dogs in the hands of this completely incompetent person while our vacation was entirely ruined by stress and tears.Her lack of basic intelligence and care is staggering: Zero Respect for Rules: She complained about "large wet spots smelling of urine" on her couch and claimed she couldn’t tell which dog did it. We explicitly told her the dogs are never allowed on furniture. When I asked for a photo to ensure they were okay, she sent a picture of them laying on her bed. She lacks the basic brainpower to keep dogs off furniture. Dangerous Negligence: She allowed my dog to chew and swallow socks whole. She is clearly too dirty to keep laundry off the floor and too lazy to supervise the animals in her care. Power Tripping & Cruelty: We tried to come home a day early just to get away from her. Due to severe weather, we were stuck at the marina and couldn’t dock for over 6 hours. We finally made it back at 11 PM, exhausted and desperate to get our dogs. Madeline refused to let us pick them up because she "wasn't home" and forced us to wait until 8 AM the next morning "as scheduled" just to power trip.When we finally got our dogs back, my Doberman had two severe episodes of diarrhea in our home from pure, unadulterated anxiety. Madeline is an absolute nightmare, entirely unequipped for this job, and a danger to pets. Do not risk your animals' safety with her!!!
Madeline was great, she accommodated a meet and greet, made Mila feel comfortable and has great communication through our booking. I’m glad to have found her and Mila came home happy and healthy!
Madeline took such great care of Harley while we were away! She sent us photos and videos of our boy during his whole stay and it looks like he had a great time there with her! She was super communicative before for the meet and greet and during the entire stay! We were so worried to how he would adjust, but he did great! Would definitely recommend her!!

Maddie was unbelievably amazing. It was my first time ever leaving my dogs with someone for more the a night and I am glad it was her. She took care of puppies like they've been hers. Sent pictures and videos of them having fun regularly without asking and we definitely choose her next time as well ☺️

Schedule
I work from home so it’s easy to care for your pet all day and provide multiple walks a day! My home also has a small enclosed yard with a dog door, so pets have easy access to outdoor space whenever they need it. Your pet will enjoy a balanced routine of activity, comfort, and care while they’re with me.

As I have had to care for my dog who broke her back and made a full recovery from being paralyzed to running again, I can meet almost any accommodations for your fur baby. I know how difficult it is to leave your pet behind especially if they have past injuries or are elderly and require special care. They will be in the best care with me! I love dogs and want you to have the most relaxing time you can while away. If price is an issue please message me.
A typical day
I love pet puzzles! I have a plastic one and also have used a tea towel with treats inside for them to unravel. I’ve taught dogs how to play hide and seek with treats as well. There will be no shortage of attention!
