Pet care fits seamlessly into my daily routine. I have open availability for drop-in visits and overnight sitting. I have several established clients, but those visits are scheduled in advance and are often easily managed alongside new bookings.

Because I have cats of my own, I care for pets in their own homes. Rest assured, mine are cared for when I'm away, so I can focus solely on your pet and their needs. For overnight/house sitting bookings, I require a "Get to Know You" visit in your home at least 48 hours prior to the start of your first booking to ensure that we're a good fit for each other.

Please let me know if your pet has any special needs or behaviors that I should be aware of ahead of time, especially triggers for aggression. This is important for our mutual safety. I like knowing if there are words or sounds that trigger a response in your pet, such as clicking your tongue for treats. Please let me know if you have any specific routines for your pet, as well as any comfort items they may have, such as a specific toy, blanket/bed, music, or television.
A typical day
I go with the flow of your pet. Whether they're high energy and like to go for walks and play, or do the bare minimum and snuggle all day, I'll make sure they're cared for exactly as you would care for them.

Hi - I'm Madeline! I'm an experienced pet sitter in the Tampa Bay area and I would love to care for your family. As a pet mom myself, I understand the importance of having responsible, patient, and loving care for your pets when you have to be away from them. I have more than a decade of experience caring for dogs and cats (and even an opossum!) in their own home. I am comfortable caring for animals with a wide variety of needs. Do you have a diabetic dog who requires shots? I can handle that. Is your cat a serial puker who requires a special diet? Mine too. I would love the opportunity to care for your pets and your home.

Madeline is a great sitter! We requested Madeline for a house and pet sitter for our pet cat, Cleopatra. She did a great job caring for Cleo. She sent us pictures periodically and text updates. Cleo was well cared for, fed regularly, and kept happy while we were away. The house was still clean when we arrived home and Cleo was happy. We couldn't ask for more from a sitter. Madeline has watched my 3 cats on multiple occasions. She goes above and beyond to not only care for them, but to make sure they are happy and comfortable. My cats are shy and typically get nervous around other people, but always come out around her! I feel very comfortable leaving my cats with Madeline, knowing the quality of care they are receiving and cannot recommend Madeline enough!
We've been using Madeline as a cat/house sitter for several years and would be lost without her! Leaving our older cats is always hard, especially with their specific routines and medicine needs, but Madeline handles the job with confidence and ease. Our cats are always relaxed and happy when we return and she always leaves the house clean and tidy. I highly recommend Madeline!!
