Pet care experience

Dog and cat lover <3

Hi there! I'm a lifelong animal lover with years of hands-on experience caring for both dogs and cats—whether they’re my own, a neighbor’s, or a friend’s. I’ve helped train energetic puppies, given oral medications, and have experience caring for my senior dog, so I understand the importance of patience, consistency, and lots of love. I recently graduated from Northeastern University with a degree in biology and just moved back home to North Carolina. I love spending time outdoors and going on long walks, and I'm happy to tailor my care to match your pet's energy level and needs. What sets me apart is my attention to detail, gentle approach, and deep understanding of animals at all life stages. You can trust that your pet will be treated with the same love and respect I give my own. I look forward to meeting your pet and providing care you can count on!

Pets

Safety, trust & environment

When caring for pets in your home, I always treat the space with respect and make sure your pet feels comfortable, safe, and loved. I follow all instructions carefully—whether that includes giving medications, sticking to a specific feeding schedule, or maintaining routines that help your pet feel at ease. I’m happy to play, walk, or just keep them company depending on their needs and personality. My goal is always to make your pet feel relaxed and cared for while you’re away.

Madeline was great. She seemed very confident and reassuring with working with my reactive dogs. She had no trouble getting in, walked the dogs, and even took time to hangout with them! Will definitely working with Madeline again.

Madeline was so fantastic to have as a sitter for my cat! She was very communicative and responsive, was attentive and friendly, and did a great job caring for my cat. She sent many video and photos as well as updates on food, and disposition. I would highly recommend her as a sitter!!

Thank you so much for taking care of Goose on such short notice! She was much calmer and well exercised after your walk; which was the goal. Much appreciated and highly recommended!

Madeline was very communicative and was accommodating of our last minute request which was much appreciated! At our initial meeting she asked lots of responsible questions so we knew our cat would be in good hands. We received lots of photo and video updates. Would recommend to others!

Schedule

As a student at Northeastern University, I have a flexible class schedule that allows me to make time for pet care throughout the week. I’m reliable, communicative, and happy to work around your pet’s routine—especially during afternoons, evenings, and weekends when I tend to have the most availability. I’ll always make sure your pet gets the attention and care they need, and I’m happy to discuss a schedule that works for both of us.

To make sure your pet gets the best care, please share any important details ahead of time—like medication instructions, their feeding schedule and portion sizes, and any restrictions or special needs they have. This helps me keep your pet happy, healthy, and comfortable while you’re away.
