Pet care experience

Your pet’s newest bestie

I grew up in a home filled with animals. We had cats, birds and dogs, all whom I loved & made quality time for. I have 12+ years of experience taking care of a variety of pets including ferrets, birds, rats, fish, cats & dogs & more, for family, friends & local community members. I also had two cats of my own, who were the center of my world, for the past 4yrs & recently got a new cat who runs the home (as cats do). I strive to accommodate to the needs of both you & your pet(s) so that you both feel comfortable. Whether that’s adjusting my schedule where I can to maintain their routine, to sending you pictures of your pet(s) while I’m caring for them. I love going for adventures, though if your pet just needs some rest I’m happy to snuggle up by their side while reading a book or crocheting (yes I will crochet them toys & sweaters if you’d like). Regardless, I’m here for them. I also have a car for transportation to & from your place for caregiving, & am familiar with the local emergency vets in the rare instance they have an emergency. I hope to be the purrfect match for your pet’s needs!

Pets

Safety, trust & environment

I have experience working with crates, if your pet uses one, & administering medications. My #1 priority is to keep your pet safe & keep you updated regarding any health concerns because the last thing you need is to feel stressed about your pet’s wellbeing while you’re away.

Maddy is an amazing care giver not only for your pet but for your space as well. She did everything for her cats and I know she would take just as well for others fur babies. Whether it’s staying over or just stopping in, she would do a remarkable job ensuring your pet (and plants) are taken care of and safe.

Schedule

I work in downtown Boise. My typical work schedule is M-Th, 8.45am-4.45pm & I’m off F-Su. I usually have a lot of flexibility on my days off. Every 3rd week of the month my work schedule changes on T-Th to 11am-7pm. Depending on your pets needs & distance from my work (around downtown Boise) I may be available for a midday check-in. I know I have these days marked as unavailable on Rover, so if you’re curious to know if I’d be available T-Th, please feel free to reach out when booking :)

It’s helpful for me to know the following about your furry friend before I care for them: -Does your pet have any behavioral specifications (ie not good with other dogs, not good with kids, can be shy around new people or scared/aggressive around specific genders, have anxiety, etc). -Does your pet have any triggers or specific fears? -Any health conditions that may be cause for concern? -Does your pet have any allergies? -Does your pet have a special diet? -Contact info for your pet’s regular vet & if you have a preference for an emergency vet, in case something were to happen? -What’s their favorite place or favorite activity that I can take them to/do with them?
Each sitter joining Rover needs to pass a background check. And by booking on Rover, you can get photo & message updates, 24/7 support, and reimbursement for eligible vet care.
