Hi there! I’m Madelin, and I’m 23 years old currently living in Walterboro SC. I have 5 fur babies of my own. 3 Dogs and 2 Cats. I have a Golden retriever, Dutch shepherd/retriever mix, and a Mini Australian Shepherd. To tell you a little background about my experience with animals: I’ve been surrounded by bigger dogs when I was a kid. My grandparents had smaller dogs like chihuahuas and beagles and etc. I’ve always had a huge heart for all animals. I’ve worked in the animal industry for 6 years now. I’ve worked at a dog grooming place, animal shelter and I’ve also worked as a kennel technician in a smaller vet clinic. I’m experienced with dogs of all sizes and breeds. I am also experienced with giving medications to dogs and cats, whether that be oral, topical or etc. I’ve worked with dogs and cats of all ages. I’m very comfortable with animals and hope to become the bestest friends with your fur baby! I am very respectful of my clients homes. I’ve always been in a clean and organized household and picked up those qualities into my own home. Also, as a pet owner, I understand the need to clean daily (nothing is more frustrating than coming home to a dirty house!) I will always strive to keep your home just as clean as it was when you left. Nothing is more important to me than respecting animals and yours/their space. Overall, I want to make your life easier and less stressful. With that being said I will aim to provide the same level of care I would obtain to look for in my own pet sitter.

I can’t recommend Madelin enough! She’s been absolutely amazing with our dog, Molly. From day one, Madelin has been kind, dependable, and clearly experienced with dogs. Molly absolutely adores her and always came back from walks happy and well cared for. It’s been such a relief knowing that Molly was in such loving and capable hands. Madelin is attentive, trustworthy, and truly goes above and beyond — everything you’d hope for in a dog walker. We’re so grateful for all she’s done!
Took a last minute booking and did a great job with my dog
Arrived late without notice. Was happy to be flexible but would’ve appreciated prior communication. She did not care for my pup for the full time and left the front door of my house unlocked.
Madeline took great care of Sedona. Sedona is very energetic and Im sure she enjoyed that break within her day. Thank you!

I am extremely disappointed with my experience. I booked Madelin through Rover to care for my pet, but she never showed up or provided any of the agreed-upon services. I have tangible evidence of this through my smart home app that records each time the door is unlocked & relocked along with the name of the individual who is unlocking it. Despite not coming to my apartment, she still collected the payment. I tried reaching out to clarify the situation with Madelin, but was gaslighted and blocked. This is not only unprofessional but also unacceptable when it comes to the care and well-being of a pet. I trusted Rover and Madelin to ensure my pet was safe and looked after, and that trust was broken. I would strongly caution others before booking with this sitter even though she comes across as trustworthy because your pet may be going without food/water and without a smart home device you may be unaware. In addition, the majority of her images are of her own pets, not those she has cared for.
