Pet care fits very easily into my daily and weekly routine because my schedule is very flexible and open during the week. I am available throughout weekdays, including mornings, afternoons, and evenings. On weekends, my availability is more occasional, but I am still open to working them depending on the need and advance notice. I am reliable with time management and make sure I plan ahead so I can consistently show up on time and give each pet the attention they need. Overall, having a flexible schedule allows me to be dependable and available for pet care while still maintaining balance with my other commitments.

Any information about their favorite toys, treats, or comfort habits is also very useful so I can help them feel more at ease while their owner is away. My goal is always to keep their routine as consistent and stress free as possible so the more information provided the better!

I always prioritize keeping things consistent so they feel safe and relaxed while their owners are away. Throughout the day, I enjoy spending time with them through walks, playtime, and attention based on their energy level and personality. For dogs, this can include neighborhood walks, outdoor time, playing fetch, or just relaxing and giving them companionship. I also make sure they get plenty of bathroom breaks and mental stimulation so they stay happy and comfortable. If I am doing house sitting, I stay attentive to their needs throughout the day and make sure they are never feeling lonely or stressed. I also keep the home tidy and follow any specific instructions from the owner to make sure everything is taken care of properly. Overall, I focus on making pets feel safe, loved, and cared for while keeping their routine as normal as possible.

I have grown up around animals and have always adored how wonderful companions they are. I grew up taking care of family members dogs when they went on vacations, which gave me early experience with feeding, walking, and general care. I also have some experience with cats from having one when I was younger and helping care for a few friends and family members cats over the years. I am comfortable helping with basic cat care such as feeding, litter box cleaning, and spending time with them. I have my own dog, Hadley, an 8 year old golden retriever. She is very spunky, sometimes a troublemaker, but very sweet. She loves walks and I have walked her for years and really enjoy doing so. Caring for her has helped me build strong experience with daily routines and understanding a dog’s needs. Within the past year, I started working at a shelter where I take care of dogs, including some with aggression and fear issues due to neglect and other reasons. I feed them, walk them, clean up after them, play with them, and give them love and attention while they wait to be adopted. That experience has taught me how to be around different types of dogs, adapt to their needs, and make sure our furry friends are always loved and cared for. I take pride in being reliable, attentive, and patient when caring for animals. I always treat pets as if they were my own and make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for. Madeline was amazing and took great care of Boston and our house while we were gone.
Maddie was amazing with our pets! We had never had a house sitter before and had never left our 2 dogs and 2 cats for more than a few days before. Maddie helped put us at ease before we left. She had great communication, asked questions, assured us she would treat the pets as if they were her own. Throughout the trip, we received daily updates and pictures. Even though we were on vacation, the pictures and updates became a daily highlight for us. It was very clear Maddie was taking great care of all four of our pets as well as the house and our plants. We also knew she was taking good care of our pets since you could tell our pets were showing her their individual personalities through her updates. When we returned home, the house was clean, pets were well-cared for, and she left us a summary note to review with final updates and information on where she had been putting the garden produce she picked while we were gone. We couldn't have been happier with how Maddie watched over our house and pets. We would absolutely have Maddie back without a second thought whenever we decide to take our next trip in the future!

I highly recommend Madi as a pet sitter and caregiver. She has a love for animals, especially dog, and is naturally patient, caring, and attentive with animals. Since 2018, she has helped care for a family dog daily, including walks, feeding, playtime, and giving plenty of affection and attention. She has helped care for her grandmother’s dog over the years and is dependable and trustworthy. Animals seem to feel comfortable around her very quickly, and she genuinely enjoys spending time with them. She is responsible, kind, communicative, and will treat any pet as if it were her own. I would feel completely comfortable leaving a pet in her care.
