When caring for pets in a client’s home, I make sure to follow all instructions closely and maintain a calm, clean, and safe environment. I stick to the pet’s regular routine, whether that’s feeding, walks, playtime, or administering medication, and make sure they feel comfortable and cared for while their owner is away. I always prioritize safety, keep the space secure, and provide updates if requested to build trust and peace of mind. In my own home, I treat my two small dogs like family and give them lots of attention, structure, and love—and I bring that same care to every pet I look after.

Maddie is a wonderful caregiver for all sorts of pets, but especially dogs. She has cared for my high maintenance, big black labs, and has shown great patience, compassion, and genuine care for their wellbeing. She responds quickly and is clearly dedicated to providing the best possible quality of care. Any pet would be delighted to have Maddie as their caregiver!
I can’t say enough good things about Maddie. She watched my dog, Moose, for a long weekend and treated him like he was her own. She sent daily updates (with the cutest photos), took him on long walks, and went on adventures with him in his favorite park. When I came home, the house was spotless and Moose was calm, happy, and maybe even a little too in love with her. If you need someone who’s responsible, kind, and genuinely loves dogs, Maddie is your girl.
Maddie is a true dog person. She loves taking my two elderly Havanese littermates for slow walks around the neighborhood even though it takes them three times as long to make it around the block as it would take someone to walk sans dogs. She is patient and attentive with older pets and has the youthful energy to keep up with a pack of big puppydogs too.
