I've taken care of dogs since I was 13 and cats since I was 15. I get along with all animals, love to play with them and make sure they are cared for. I have taken care of neighbors, friends, my mom's colleague's pets and have not had one bad experience. I am familiar with dropping in for walks, feeding times, and play times as well as staying the night over multiple nights. I pay close attention to instructions and anything I don't understand - I contact the owner to clarify and make sure it's all purrr-fect :)

I have had a dog since I was a little girl and we have grown up together. Growing up she was (and I'll be honest, still is) food crazy - so since that time I have had to double check all counter tops, bags, and pockets that may have stray food not great for dogs. This is a practice I've carried over to other client's homes. Pets are smart! So, I try and stay one step ahead of them. I like to play fetch with dogs and give them cuddles, too. I also always like to end the night with a sweet treat to let them know how loved they are! As for walks, I generally pay attention to the dog's energy level. If it's raining and they only have interest in doing their business and getting back inside - then that's what I'll do. I do make sure any lack of walking is made up for by playing or belly rubs in the house. On nice days I generally like to go for longer walks in the park.

Madeleine is great! We have had her watch our dog a few times now and our dog loves her and is very comfortable and happy when she comes to watch him. Definitely recommend Madeleine!

Madeleine has dog sat and stayed at our house twice now and each time has been great! Our dog loves her! She leaves the house just the way you leave it. Communication is great with a picture each day! Will definitely continue having her dog sit for us again!

Madeleine was great with our dog! Our dog is very cautious with new people, and she was great with taking her time and letting him come to her. She was really good with communicating with us and keeping us updated throughout the weekend. Definitely would have her dog sit for us again!
Maddie did an excellent job with my dog. She took her for lots of walks, sent lots of pictures and updates, and left the house spotless. Will definitely hire her again!

Schedule
I’m a current graduate student at the University of Kentucky and live less than a 10 min drive from campus. Depending on the day I have a class in the morning or in the afternoon, so if it’s an afternoon walk you’ll be needing - message me and I’ll let you know what my schedule looks like on that day! That being said my schedule is pretty flexible and I’m happy to work around what your pet might need :)
