Safety, trust & environment
I'm attentive to pets' regular schedules and work to keep things as normal as possible for them while you're away. Regular mealtimes, sleeping in the bed (if that's what they're used to) and all the things you'll let me know about them specifically (treats after medication, noticing when they're a good boy, playing pet tunes for them, whatever!). Mostly I'm present and attentive to their needs in the moment, whether it's playtime, a potty break, or big cuddles and lots of affection.
Information Madeleine N. would like to know about your pet
Medications, dietary needs, and how your pet feels most comfortable in general are important factors. It’s also important to know how your pup reacts to other dogs and people while on leash. I do specialize in shy and anxious dogs, and it’s good to be aware of any possible triggers beforehand (such as food aggression, leaning over the dog, loud noises, etc.).
A typical day
Games of fetch, laser pointers, gentle games of tug of war, sniffing EVERYTHING outside, and continuing your enrichment practices with special toys, games, and training techniques. Most of all, I pay attention to what the little loves are asking for and provide it to the best of my ability.

Loving caregiver
Pet care experience
Dogs and cats have been at the center of my life since I was a child, and I have a gentle way that puts them at ease. I prioritize each animal’s needs and cater my interactions to each unique personality. My visits are full of love, snuggles, and fun play. I no longer offer vigorous walks for dogs who need a lot of exercise, but I love to play and give them my full attention (when they ask!). At this point I'm focusing on elder dogs and those who need extra attention physically and emotionally. I’m always available for a free meet and greet to ensure a great fit! *Certified in Pet CPR and First Aid *Gentle, patient, loving *Experienced in administering medication *Specializing in dogs and cats with special needs (shy, anxious, senior, compromised health)

Took great care of our dog, cat, and home! Everyone seemed relaxed when we got back. Will use their services again!

As always, took great care of our kitties and home while we were away!

Madeleine did an amazing job caring for our kitties and our home while we were away. We received frequent updates and photos. Madeleine was very patient and understanding of our cats’ personalities and preferences for engagement, which we really appreciated. We will definitely have Madeleine care for our kitties again!
