I provide personalized care with an emphasis on positive reinforcement, mental enrichment, and each pet’s individual routines and preferences. I pay close attention to behaviour and body language and adapt my approach to help each pet feel comfortable in my care. I have experience with dog walking, cat sitting, boarding dogs in my home and helping raise and train family dogs from puppyhood. I am very familiar with positive reinforcement training and the importance of maintaining each pet’s established routines and training cues rather than introducing conflicting methods. I enjoy providing both physical exercise and mental enrichment through activities such as scent games, training exercises, outdoor walks and interactive play. I also provide detailed updates so you know how your pet is eating, behaving, and spending their time while you’re away.

If your pet requires medication, special feeding instructions, or extra patience and attention, I will work with you to ensure their needs are met. Before each booking, I like to learn about your pet’s routine, personality, health needs, training cues, and favourite activities so I can provide care that feels familiar and consistent.

She is friendly and sweet, however as mentioned in other reviews she is extremely unpunctual. she has been evidently late for every walk we have booked and there’s always some reason last minute. my boyfriend had to come home from work while i was out of province to walk our dog as she let us know 5 minutes before the booking that she would be late and it would have been over an hour. things come up, not every single time.
Madeline was absolutely amazing, my girlfriend was a little hesitant to use rover with leaving our babies lives with a stranger. But wow, this experience was incredible! We are both so happy we went with Madeleine, the detailed notes and pictures gave us such relief knowing they were with her. So so SO grateful :) A plus all around! She was very communicative and helpful with attention to detail, and did everything right (we gave her SO much info to start 😅). Our kitties definitely have a new friend 💗

She took care of my two cats for 4.5 days. I really appreciated how thoroughly she went over my instructions and provided detailed updates on how each day went. While she was unfortunately late most days - and significantly late on the last day for their scheduled feeding time - she stayed well past her scheduled time to ensure my cats received complete care. We even extended her booking by 30 minutes so she could comfortably give the my cats the care they needed and be compensated for her time. She truly prioritized my cats’ well-being. Her dedication to my cats ultimately made up for the tardiness.

Schedule
I have a flexible work schedule that I adjust around pet care, which means I am available for walks and drop-in visits on weekdays. I also provide services on evenings and weekends. Please note that my scheduled window of arrival may vary by up to 15 minutes. I am typically available between 7am and 7pm.

- Please let me know about your pet’s personality, routine, favourite activities, training cues, medical needs, and anything else that helps them feel comfortable and secure.
