Growing up in a family of dog lovers and now sharing my home with two cats, caring for animals has always been part of my life. Friends, family, neighbours, and community members have trusted me to care for their pets for many years. I have experience with dog walking, pet sitting, and helping raise and train family dogs from puppyhood. I am very familiar with positive reinforcement training and the importance of maintaining each pet’s established routines and training cues. I enjoy providing both physical exercise and mental enrichment through activities such as scent games, training exercises, and interactive play. I am happy to care for both dogs and cats and will work with you to ensure your pet’s individual needs are met.

Your pet’s safety, comfort, and wellbeing are my top priorities. Before each booking, I like to learn about your pet’s routine, personality, health needs, training cues, and favourite activities so I can provide care that feels familiar and consistent. I am happy to provide updates and photos during visits so you can have peace of mind while you’re away. If your pet requires medication, special feeding instructions, or extra patience and attention, I will work with you to ensure their needs are met.

Madeleine has a true affinity and love for dogs and cats. She grew up with dogs and is very comfortable with them and knowledgeable about their needs. I have three dogs and she has a strong connection with them filled with kindness and affection. She has two cats and is the best cat mom, providing excellent care in every way, including brushing them regularly, and finding enriching activities and toys for them. Madeleine is a reliable, honest, trustworthy person who has a special way with dogs and cats and I highly recommend her as a pet caregiver.

Schedule
I work part-time as a volunteer coordinator, which gives me flexibility for pet care throughout the week. I am available for evening and weekend visits, as well as some weekday walks and drop-in visits. For cats and lower-mobility dogs, I can also provide daytime drop-in visits during work hours.
Prices include all fees.
