A typical day with me as your dog sitter promises a blend of care, engagement, and adventure tailored to your furry friend's needs. Here's a glimpse into what a day might look like: Morning: Greet your dog with a warm welcome and offer breakfast according to their regular schedule. Engage in some playtime or gentle exercise to get their tail wagging and energy flowing. Depending on your dog's preferences, we can enjoy a leisurely walk in our neighborhood or head to a nearby park for a stimulating outdoor experience. If your dog enjoys interactive toys or puzzles, we can spend time together solving them to keep their mind sharp and entertained. For active dogs, I'll incorporate games like fetch or hide-and-seek to keep them physically stimulated and engaged. Evening: Wind down the day with another pleasant walk, allowing your dog to explore their surroundings and enjoy the fresh air. Afterward, we can indulge in some calming downtime, such as gentle petting, grooming, or a peaceful snuggle session. If permitted and desired, I can provide healthy treats or follow any special dietary requirements for your dog's evening meal. Welcome to my online dog sitting profile! My name is Maddie, and I am an experienced and passionate pet caregiver with a deep love for animals. Throughout my life, I have had the privilege of raising my beloved beagle, Muffin, from the tender age of 7 weeks to an incredible 14.5 years old. This journey has given me invaluable knowledge and skills in providing exceptional care for dogs. I have extensive experience working with puppies, guiding them through their crucial developmental stages and implementing effective training techniques. From potty training to basic commands, I understand the importance of positive reinforcement and patience when it comes to shaping a well-behaved and happy companion. Having cared for dogs of all sizes, I am comfortable and confident in handling any breed or temperament. Whether your furry friend is a tiny Chihuahua or a majestic Great Dane, I am well-versed in adapting my care and attention to suit their individual needs. In addition, I possess extensive knowledge and experience in administering medications. During Muffin's later years, she required various medications, and I became proficient in managing her treatment regimen. From oral medications to injections, I am comfortable and skilled in ensuring your dog receives their prescribed medications accurately and safely. Rest assured that when you entrust your beloved companion to my care, they will be treated as a cherished member of my own family. I am committed to providing a loving, nurturing, and stimulating environment, where your dog's happiness and well-being are my top priorities.
Reviews

Took great care of my curious boy for the day! It seemed like he was happy right off the bat to meet her and relaxed very quickly. She has a good energy around dogs and was very communicative.

Maddie has been watching my Flynn. He is usually slow to warm up to strangers but he was already cuddling, kissing and let her pet him on the first day. Maddie gave great updates and pictures and took Flynn on nice walks. The fact that she has a back yard to play in a a nice bonus.

Thanks so much for looking after my 5 year old Labradoodle Lola! She is very high energy and is usually bouncing off the walls when I pick her up from most sitters but Madeleine exercised her so much! I appreciated that after a long, drive home - Lola was exercised so we could rest!! Also thanks for taking on our kitten Theo! We received lots of updates and photos of our babies - thanks so much!!

Thank you Madeleine for taking such great care of Niles! We were able to enjoy our day visiting Vancouver knowing our pup was so we'll looked after and having fun. Great communication and updates really put us at ease. We got a very happy and tired pup back and are so grateful for your care!
