Hiya, I’m Maddie! 💕 I’m a warm and attentive animal lover with lots of shelter and sitting experience - I’ve cared for anxious dogs, shy kitties, spicy ones, playful puppies, seniors, bunnies, hamsters, turtles, and even the occasional bird! Over the years, I’ve learned to read animal body language well, adapting my approach to each unique personality. I believe pets thrive most when they feel understood, so I always take my time to build trust at their own pace. My goal is always the same: create a calm, safe space for your pet to feel comfy and content while you’re away. If your pet needs a little extra patience, or even just a lower-stress environment, I’m happy to provide that for you. I stick closely to your pet’s usual routine and follow your instructions carefully. I’ll also vacuum and tidy up everything after housesitting, so you return to a home that’s nice and clean. I do love keeping you in the loop, so expect plenty of photos and updates while you’re gone! Taking cute pics of your pets is a little passion of mine ☺️ Meet-and-greets are always offered, just to make sure we all click before the booking starts. Looking forward to connecting!

Madeleine was absolutely lovely and I would definitely book with her again!!! She was always extremely communicative and prompt, left detailed “rover cards” and pictures, and really seemed to dedicate time and care during her visits with our kitty - which means the world to us. Leaving our kitty at home is always so hard, but I honestly felt very reassured knowing she was taking care of our girl!
Maddie has stayed with Maisie a number of times now and she’s always so good with my high-energy young dog. I’ll continue to book Maddie for as long as she’ll accept!
Maddie, once again, took excellent care of our cats during a weekend away. She dropped in multiple times daily to ensure they were well fed and watered, and even put on relaxing cat YT videos for our anxious boy, Charlie. Thank you, Maddie!
Maddie took such great care of Winnie and Charlie, and our home, during our week away, and we couldn't be happier! From the start, she was attentive to their individual needs, including managing their separate diets and food routines. She even helped administer IV fluids for Winnie alongside our vet tech, which gave us so much peace of mind knowing Winnie was in such capable hands. Maddie treated our home with the utmost respect- she stripped and washed the bed linens, ran the dishwasher before leaving, and left everything spotless. It truly felt like she cared for our space as if it were her own. To top it all off, she sent lovely updates and photos throughout the week so we could see how our fur babies were doing. We feel so relieved to have found her and can't wait to book with her again!
Madeleine is lovely and very attentive, she was great company for my cat for a few nights. Would ask her to stay again anytime!
I highly recommend Maddie for cat care. She did daily visits with my male cat while I was away, being very diligent with updates, quick with replies and leaving clear notes that gave me peace of mind. I have a shy cat but she formed a bond with him quickly, and even introduced some new activities he loved ( peg., calming cat videos). Her combo of professionalism, responsiveness and genuine care for my cat shined bright. Thanks, Maddie!
