Animal lover based in Bristol
I have had pets (dogs, cats, parrots and chickens) my whole life and love being surrounded by animals. I’m more familiar with big dogs and cats, however, I did paid pet sitting work when living in Australia (on madpaws - which is an Australian Rover) with a whole variety of pets. I pride myself on my level of care, I treat your precious baby/babies like my own, and will most likely be slightly heartbroken when it’s time for them to go home. I have added some of my reviews as pictures to my profile. Back at my family home, I have 1 crazy border collie, a eclectus parrot and 3 cats which I absolutely adore. I'm extremely experienced in catsitting as I was a primary contact for one of my neighbours back home for over 5 years, this included single overnight stays as well as long term stays up to a month. One of the cats I looked after needed regular medication. Due to this, I'm extremely comfortable with cats, I'm also happy to give them basic medications if needed (although I should make clear I have no professional qualifications to do so). From having a border collie, I'm used to longer walks (minimum 45 mins-1 hour) for medium-large sized dogs, I do also have some experience walking smaller dogs and would be happy to change the length or route of the walk to suit your dogs needs. Maddy was fantastic, really responsive and helpful, took great care of the cats, sent lots of nice photos, and was proactive about checking in with me when we had a heatwave. I'd highly recommend her!
Murphy was looked after very well, his quirks cared for and he looked very happy in the great pictures taken of his stay! His next stay is already booked in!
So happy we have found Maddy to look after our rescue dog Luna.Luna can be nervous of new people, especially in the house but within a couple of meet ups they were best buds, we got photos of Luna snoozing away at her feet and looking very happy and relaxed. Communication has been great, very reliable and great at sending updates and pics. Luna is counting down the days until her next dog sit with Maddy!
Maddy was amazing with bear - very caring and reassuring and kept me updated throughout my trip! Bear came back happy and sleepy. Would definitely book again :)
Maddie was amazing! Otto absolutely loved her and they had a great day together. She stepped in at short notice when our other dog sitter cancelled right before our wedding day and she made everything so easy for us. We'll definitely be booking her for dog sitting/walking again in the future. Thank you Maddie! Xx
Maddie is amazing! Great communication, flexible, reliable and was perfect looking after our 3 year old Labrador Retriever Tony. She sent us updates, followed all of his care instructions and left our flat immaculate on a recent house sit. Would highly recommend and already booked her again for a future house sit!

Schedule
I work from home so can be with your pet 24/7 if needed. I live in a location with plenty of lovely walks if the stay is at my house.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a fenced back yard and currently no other pets. There is plenty of space for a bigger pet if needed, and each room is able to be shut off separately.
A typical day
I love playing with dogs and have some really lovely walks around me that have a range of sights and smells to keep them entertained. If your dog prefers to relax and unwind, I’m happy to let them up on our furniture (provided you are too) and snooze until their heart(s) is content.
