A peaceful & quiet doggie sanctuary
Dog care has been one my side gigs since I was a kid! My first "job" at 11 was picking up poo (I know 😅) for a pair of rambunctious pitties, and then in my teens I moved on to dog walking and sitting. I am a huge dog lover and am happy to cuddle any snuggly clingy dogs. I am just as happy to build a trusting relationship with anxious dogs, or create a safe space for independent dogs to do their own thing while they're hanging out with me.

Maddy has taken care of our rambunctious pup for multiple overnight stays and has cared for (and managed!) our pup so well. We really appreciate the daily updates, the transparency about how things are going and what other dogs are there (if any), and the wonderful playmate our pup has enjoyed in Maddy’s dog Amina. We have experienced a number of Rover sitters over the years, and Maddy’s professionalism rises to the top. Thank you Maddy we appreciate you!
Maddie was great! She was very responsive and in tune with how Margot was doing. Margot was well taken care of and got lots of outdoor and playtime! Absolutely will be booking her again!

This was the first time I’d left my dog for a full week and Madelaine made me feel so much better about it! She and her partner were so attentive and generous, even making sure to play daily outdoor games with my dog to get her energy out. I’m so grateful!
Gus always has the best time here and I can tell they treat him with so much love and care. I love all the videos of how much fun he was having:)

Schedule
I work from home most of the time, but have to work out of the house 1 day per week. Besides that, I am home and hanging with the pups while I work! Because of that 1 day out of the house, your dog must be okay being left alone for short periods. When I am home there is lots of cuddle time and outside play time.

Safety, trust & environment
We live in a house with a spacious, fenced backyard. There is tons of room to run around or lay in the sun. We provide a very calm and peaceful environment for our doggie guests, as we rarely take more than 1 guest at a time anymore. If you have a dog that is older, sleepy, gets easily overwhelmed or just does better with a more laid back setting, this is the spot for them! We live in a quiet neighborhood close to walking trails and like to spend time outdoors as much as possible when the weather is nice. We have in incredibly sweet 37lb 8 year old pittie mix named Amina. She is a super patient, very friendly, easy going older girl who gets along great with other dogs. Additionally, we have multiple rooms that are set up for Amina to hang out in, so if your dog is feeling shy or needs space to settle in, Amina is totally able to hang out by her self to give your dog solo time with me. Note: Amina is caught up with all vaccinations and is on preventatives for fleas, heart worms and ticks. Having been a pet owner for awhile (my family also had pets my whole growing up), I am comfortable administering simple medications, and of course following whatever food schedule/requirements that your pup needs. I am here to give your pup whatever they need and make their stay super enjoyable - like a little dog vacation! If you have any questions, please message me, as I want to give you the peace of mind that your needs will be met. I know how much I have worried during the times I had to leave Amina for a trip, and I want you to feel safe and confident that your dog will receive as much love and care as they would at home! Additionally, while your dog is staying at my place, I will provide pictures to keep you updated on their adventures and how they're doing. :)

A typical day
We have a nice big backyard that is good for sniffing around, sunbathing, and rolling in the grass. Our neighborhood is great for walking- we have lovely nature trails nearby that the dogs love! At home, we have lots of toys and indoor space for hanging out, playing and cuddling.
