I’m a full-time Realtor, which gives me a very flexible schedule and allows me to be home most days. I primarily work from home, and the only regular time I’m away is on Tuesdays and Wednesdays for a brief meeting in Dupont from 12–1 pm, meaning I’m typically gone for no more than a few hours at a time. On other days, I may step out briefly for a showing, but those outings are short and infrequent. Your pet will have plenty of attention, frequent potty breaks, and personalized care throughout the day. When I am away, they will always be safely and comfortably accommodated—never left confined in a small kennel, and always treated with the care and respect they deserve.

Safety, trust & environment
We share our home with one energetic German Shepherd, two cats, four horses, and chickens, so animals are truly at the center of our daily life. My dog loves staying active, and we spend plenty of time playing fetch, going on walks, and getting in runs to burn off energy. Our cats are mostly indoors and receive lots of attention, affection, and enrichment throughout the day. We’re a very animal-focused family and genuinely structure our days around making sure every animal feels cared for, exercised, and loved. Your pet would be welcomed into that routine and treated like one of our own.

Information Maddy H. would like to know about your pet
Before caring for a dog, it’s important for me to understand any special needs, routines, or sensitivities they may have. I also like to learn how they interact with farm animals (if you know) and people so I can properly accommodate them and ensure their environment is safe, calm, and comfortable. This helps me prevent potential triggers and tailor their care to what makes them feel most secure and at ease.
A typical day
My days start early with feeding and caring for the animals first thing in the morning. Throughout the day I work mostly from my computer, which allows me to take frequent breaks to check in on the animals, provide attention, and meet their needs as they arise. After work, my husband and I usually go on a two-mile run, bringing our dog along—and yours too, if they enjoy running—to get some great exercise. Evenings are quiet and structured: animals are fed before we sit down for dinner, and nighttime is all about comfort and routine. Everyone has their own cozy sleeping space so they can settle in and rest peacefully for the night.

Trusted Pet Care You Can Count On!
Pet care experience
I’ve spent my entire life caring for animals, having grown up on a farm surrounded by all kinds of pets. From dogs and cats to chickens, horses, and plenty of unique animals over the years, animal care has always been a natural part of my daily life. I currently live on a peaceful 5-acre farm where animals are treated like family, and your pet would be cared for with the same patience, love, and attention. Whether your dog enjoys calm walks through the woods, exploring new scents, or simply relaxing on the enclosed porch in the sunshine, there’s space here for every personality. You can feel confident knowing your pet will be safe, comfortable, and genuinely cared for—never bored, never overlooked, and always at home.

Pepper really loved her stay with Maddy! She is already looking forward to her next stay.

Maddy is wonderful. She took good care of Our dog. Provided photos and updates on timely manner.
Maddy is a down to earth dog lover. She will take care of your pup and love them as much as she loves her own pup Moose. Moose is a gentle giant who can play with any dog. My dog Mixie got along so well with Moose even though she can be a bit grumpy at times. I trust Maddy to care for our pup and would recommend her if you want your pup to have an awesome playcation!!
Maddy is amazing with dogs! She was very loving and caring with my boy and he was always so excited to see her! She’s very good at communicating and making sure every need of your dog is met! We love her!
