When I am home, you can find me grooming all of my pets daily. This involves bathing, brushing, and using topical treatments for their fur. My dog is very energetic and I walk her numerous times a day. I also have intermediate experience with giving dogs a bath and am willing to do so if requested.

A typical day
Continuing your pet’s daily routine is most important to me since it is what your animals are most familiar with! I would love to keep your pet energized, such as going on walks or playing with toys. If this isn’t your pets style, petting and grooming while relaxing and soaking up all the love is great too!

My name is Maddy and I hope to assist you in any way I can with taking care of your pets, I will take care of them like they’re my own. I am very active, I do boxing, running, and go to the gym 5 times a week. I love to take long walks and would love a companion to do so with!! I’ve taken care of friends and family’s pets for over 3 years, I also have 3 cats and one dog that are all rescued. Two of my cats are elderly and require special treatments such as frequent grooming and oral medication. I adopted my dog Ruby around 6 years old and she was never properly trained or cared for. My dog knows many tricks and commands due to my dedication to training. I am more than happy to assist your pets with medications or helping to apply any training methods, as well as helping to bring mail in, tidy up, water plants and groom your pets! I’m a non-smoker and have been around animals my entire life. I grew up on a farm with goats, chickens, horses, and many dogs and cats! I am currently a college student studying public health. I enjoy learning about the ways to solve the disproportions in veterinary care and how to make it more equitable. Animal advocacy is my passion.

I called Maddy just a couple of weeks before Memorial day to watch my Charlie for the weekend. She quickly reached out to me and was available. She texted me whenever she was in doubt of something and she even sent me videos of Charlie while we were gone. This was so reassuring. I thought Charlie might be anxious while we were gone....definitely no! Maddy did a great job and I am so grateful. I will definitely reach out to Maddy again in the near future. Thank you Maddy!
Maddy is a great pet lover, she is caring, responsive and smart. She takes her responsibility as dog and cat caregiver very seriously. She not only cares for animals but she truly loves them and takes every need they have into consideration. I trust her with my animals at any time.
