Hi! My name is Madison and I absolutely adore all animals. I have been an active member in the Lynchburg Humane society as a foster to kittens and puppies and their mothers. I currently have a two lovely hound dogs both just over a year old. I have pet sat for several families over the years for up to two weeks. I’ve handled all types of breeds, sizes, ages and amount of animals. I am an avid hiker and enjoy long walks. I also have experience with cats, lizards, fish, chickens, and most rodents. I am always accessible in case of emergency and can take last minute walks/sittings/check ins. I can also water your plants! But I hope to be an additions to your fur baby’s life! I currently work part time so most of my day is filled with caring for my own pups and giving them an enrichment filled day. There is someone almost always home so the dogs free roam throughout the house. Water is always provided and meals can be provided up to three times a day Fenced yard, two friendly pups to play with, consistent supervision, attention and love! I have crate trained before and when I am unable to provide supervision I will be crating the dog for their safety and the safety of my dogs. (Bringing your own crate is preferred)

We were so happy to have Maddy look after Elijah and Emmerson on their first week long vacation away from their mama and papa. We were concerned with our cats at first, because they're often really shy with strangers, but Maddy got our more social scaredy cat, Eli, to play with her! She was fast to communicate when we needed anything, she took care of a lot of our plants even if she didn't quite know what they needed, got our mail, and took the trash out when she left. The house was in great condition. We would definitely ask her to sit our cats again!
Maddie checked on my pups during the day while I was at work. She gave me excellent info about their time together including pictures and even a video! Thank you, Maddie!
Madison is a very conscientious and thoughtful caregiver and would highly recommend. For me has taken care of Rusty a mischievous big hearted Irish setter who did nothing except chase the mail carrier and squirrels! And she was very good with Indy a high spirited collie/sheep dog who wanted nothing else than to follow you around and play frisbee! He didn’t want much to do with other dogs and Madison took great care to get him his exercise! Madison has also filled in for me as a dog sitter with other clients with multiple collie breeds and did a wonderful job with them including a deaf and partially blind pup. I have no doubt Madison will take great care of your pets and your home, leaving them happy and your home as you found it. 5 stars for Madison
