Availability
Due to my job, I am limiting my availability to primarily just the weekends for now. I am more than happy to do weekdays before 9 or after 5. On the weekends, I am able to come as early or as late as needed as there is no limit to my availability on Saturdays and Sundays.

Safety, trust & environment
As I strictly do pet care in the client’s home, the needs of the pet will vary based on size/breed and conversations with the client. However, for all pets I care for my biggest concern is safety and trust. I will ensure I take time to know the animal and make sure they’re comfortable with me. I would not let any human food or questionable objects near the pet so that they do not choke or consume something they shouldn’t. I will always keep a strong eye on the pet and ensure they are getting lots of love and attention throughout my walk or drop-in with them. One of the biggest things I hope for when someone watches my pets is that they are not going all day without loving interaction. Therefore, I hold myself to the same standard when watching other pets!
Information Maddie S. would like to know about your pet
I would love to know any specifics on how you like to keep your dog stimulated and especially any non-negotiables you do not want your dog doing (i.e. walking in certain areas, not going in specific room, etc.). My priority is the safety of your pet and the peace of mind for you, so any and all worries no matter how small, I would love to hear!
A typical day
With the permission of the owner, I am happy to keep dogs stimulated by going on long walks in the city. Additionally, if you are regulars at a certain dog park, I would love to take them there as well! Otherwise, I will keep your dog entertained in doors by playing with toys and giving them lots of love. With cats, I have an abundance of fun toys I can bring to keep them active and excited.

Pet care experience
New to Rover, but not new to animals! From puppies to seniors, I’ve dealt with it all! Throughout high school and college I worked at a doggy daycare/boarding facility ensuring the health and safety of all the pets in our care. My responsibilities included administering medicine, taking dogs out, feeding and much more. I have experience with dogs of all ages and breeds from as small as a Chihuahua to as big as a Saint Bernard. Additionally, I’ve pet sat for neighbors and friends since I was old enough to be trusted with the responsibility. I also am a recent volunteer at the Anti-Cruelty Society in the cat room and have 2 cats of my own! Animals are my number 1 passion in life and although I work a corporate job, it’s my goal to incorporate helping them in anyway I can.
