I currently work part-time at Salon 43 One, but I’ve always had a soft spot for animals. I recently moved to Alabama and miss my fur babies so much, so I would love the opportunity to care for other people’s pets and get my animal fix!

I would love to get to know your pup, including their triggers, times to feed and their potty breaks. I am willing to do oral medication etc. with instructions!

A typical day

* Go on fun, enriching walks based on your dog’s energy level. * Play fetch or tug-of-war in the backyard. * Work on basic commands like sit, stay, and come (if the owner is okay with it). * Use puzzle toys or treat games for mental stimulation. * Give plenty of pets, belly rubs, and cuddles (if they enjoy affection). * Refresh their water and make sure they’re comfortable before leaving. * Take photos and send updates so owners know their pet is having a great time. * For puppies, reinforce potty routines and burn off some energy. * For senior dogs, take slower sniff walks and provide gentle companionship. * If it’s hot, play indoor games instead of staying outside too long.

I’ve grown up with dogs my whole life. I recently moved to Alabama from Virginia, and I had to leave behind my four dogs. I miss them so much!

Maddie is great, she really showered my babies Scout and Finn with so much love and attention. She took care of my house as well and we were able to take a long weekend away without worry. We will definitely use Maddie again. Thanks Maddie!!!!

Our pups loved having Maddie care for them while we were away! She’s friendly and reliable and we will definitely add her to our list of sitters for the future.

Maddie did a great job watching our dog and home. She is courteous, on time, and communicated well throughout the whole process. Highly recommended. We will continue to use her.
