I also look after family members’ and friends’ pets, one being a rescue dog. I am confident, caring, reliable, and very comfortable around animals. I make sure pets feel safe, comfortable, and cared for in their own home by keeping to their usual routine as closely as possible. I carefully follow instructions from owners regarding feeding, walks, house rules, and any specific needs or behaviours. I keep the home clean and tidy and make sure pets receive plenty of attention, companionship, and care while their owners are away. I understand how important trust is when caring for both pets and someone’s home, and I always treat both with respect and responsibility.

We can’t recommend Maddie enough! We have a reactive rescue dog who is very wary of strangers, so finding the right sitter has been really important to us. Maddie has been incredibly calm, patient and understanding from the very first meeting. She took everything at Remy’s pace, and thanks to her gentle approach, he’s already gone from barking at a stranger to happily taking treats, sitting next to her on the sofa and enjoying strokes. She’s kind, reliable and clearly has a real understanding of dogs. We’re so grateful to have found her and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring and trustworthy dog sitter!

Maddie has cared for our two dogs and cat on many occasions, and we couldn’t recommend her more highly. We have an elderly working Cocker Spaniel and a Labrador who is currently on a strict diet. Maddie understands the importance of carefully weighing out his meals and sticking firmly to the no-treats rule. Our deaf cat has free run of the garden, and Maddie is always diligent about bringing her indoors before leaving the house and ensuring she is safely in for the night. We feel completely confident leaving both our pets and our home in Maddie’s care. She is reliable, conscientious, and clearly cares deeply about the animals she looks after.
Maddie is incredible. She is kind and caring with animals and always goes the extra mile -not just walking and feeding, but giving them love and making sure that they are happy. Maddie is calm and controlled with dogs, keeping them under good control. She always leaves our home cleaner than she found it and is totally reliable and trustworthy,
Maddie regularly looks after my nervous rescue dog, and I truly would not trust anyone else with her. She is incredibly compassionate, patient, and dedicated, and it is clear how much love and care she puts into every animal she works with. My dog can be anxious and wary of new people, but she absolutely adores Maddie and is always relaxed and happy in her care. She goes above and beyond to make sure he feels safe, comfortable, and well looked after. I would highly recommend Maddie to anyone looking for a reliable, caring, and trustworthy pet sitter!

Schedule
I have a fairly flexible schedule which allows me to dedicate time and attention to pet sitting. I have my own car, so I’m able to travel easily and reliably for walks, drop-ins, or overnight stays. I’m also happy to stay overnight in your home to help pets feel comfortable and keep their routine as normal as possible.
