Positive Reinforcement Pet Care

Hi, I’m Maddie! I’ve been caring for pets for over 15 years and have experience with many different breeds. I have 5 years of experience as a positive-reinforcement trainer and have additional experience training service dogs. I am working towards dog training certification. I’m comfortable with all breeds, ages, and most temperaments, and I love sending photo updates so you can relax knowing your pup is in good hands!

Maddie takes great care of Mr. Good Boy whenever we have to go out of town. Mr. Good Boy loves going to stay with Maddie even though he’s super shy & anxious. The second time he stayed with Maddie, he waltzed right in the door without a care in the world! She always sends a daily update message with a picture to let you know how things are going too! :)

Maddie was great for my puppy's first stay away from home. She was consistent with pictures and updates and I would have no hesitation using her again. Thank you!

Maddie was very communicative and sent pictures of our boys which we appreciated very much. She took great care of them, and they had a good time. We will definitely book with her again!

Maddie was amazing to work with and treated our pups like they were her own. We will definitely use her for a future booking!

Schedule

Pet care is a priority throughout the day. Dogs receive regular potty breaks, exercise, enrichment, feeding, and supervised rest periods. I occasionally leave home to work with clients; however, dogs are typically not left alone for more than 2-4 hours at a time. When unattended, dogs are safely housed in individual kennels.

Safety, trust & environment

Boarding dogs are cared for in a safe, dog-friendly home with a securely fenced yard. Dogs are supervised at all times and provided with individual kennel rest periods throughout the day. All guest dogs are temperament assessed. While supervised play may be offered, interaction with other dogs is not guaranteed and is based on each dog's individual needs and compatibility. Owners should provide their dog's food, bowls, medications (if needed), and any comfort items. All care and handling are based on positive reinforcement methods.

Pets

A typical day

A typical day includes regular potty breaks, meals, supervised play, enrichment activities, and rest periods. I provide a variety of outdoor toys with opportunities for solo or paired play. Inside, dogs may enjoy approved chews or enrichment items, and owners are welcome to provide their dog's favorites. Depending on temperament, comfort level, and compatibility, dogs may participate in supervised group play with my resident dogs or receive individual play sessions, enrichment activities, or walks.

Please let me know about any medical conditions, special needs, medications, food allergies, and your dog's temperament around other dogs, cats, adults, and children. If your dog will be boarding, a brief overview of their daily routine is also appreciated, including feeding schedule, portion sizes, exercise needs, and any other information that will help make their stay safe, comfortable, and successful.
