I am currently working full time at the zoo as a vet assistant, Sunday - Thursday from 8am to 5pm. I do my best to keep with whatever the pets usual routine is. If that includes a walk before work, we can do that. Just let me know what works for you and your pet! I will try to be as flexible as I can outside of work hours.

Safety, trust & environment

I like to hear from the owner what the pets normal routine and rules are and try my best to accommodate that so they have as much consistency as possible. If the pets normal routine involves daily walks, meds, crating or anything else, I can do that!

Information Maddie B. would like to know about your pet

It’s important to know if your dog is on any medication or has any other special needs that I need to be aware of. It’s also incredibly important to know if they have an behavior or aggression issues (either towards people or other dogs). I also think it’s good to know what your dogs normal routine is to try to limit how much changes for them while you are gone to try to ease as much stress as possible.

A typical day

I can spend lots of time playing with and walking your dog(s), if that’s something they like. I can also provide them with snuffle mats and puzzle toys, if you think your dog will enjoy doing that.

Pet care experience

All my life I have owned and care for a wide variety of animals. I have house sat for a number of neighbors and family friends for quite a few years now. I also worked at a boarding facility for just over two years where I care for a many different dog breeds with many different temperaments, ages, and medical needs. I have also cared for and owned cats. I am comfortable care for all kinds of animals with all kinds of needs.

Fantastic with both my pets, but especially my picky dog who doesn’t like just anybody. Thanks again!

Amazing dog sitter/house sitter. Thank you so much for taking such good care of my baby girl and sending pictures while I was out of the country, and for staying at my place while I was away.

Maddie did an amazing job with our dog. She was always on time and even spent more time with him to love on him. We got pictures daily and our dog always seemed happy. We would highly recommend her to anyone and even use her for our next trip!
