Currently I am working at a local dog daycare/boarding facility where I take care of around 35-40 dogs at a time. I love spending time with people’s pets and providing daycare/boarding for people who are looking for someone who wants to grow a personal relationship with their pet! My husband and I also have our cat, Chloe- who is the center of our whole universe. Most of our days are spent spoiling her rotten.

I always like to learn more about a dogs or cats personality before I know how I will care for them. I am willing to stick to any routine you may have planned for your furry babies. Making sure your pet vibes with me and is coping well with the temporary change is very important to me so I will follow any routines and instructions given (no matter how obscure) to help them through that.

A typical day
Enrichment is so important to pets. If your pet is too high energy to prefer hanging out and playing with mind toys- I’d love to take your furry friends on long walks and dates at the park. I have different places I like to take them based on whether they do well with other dogs or not. My favorite is taking them on hikes up the mountains, and strolls by the water.

Growing up, animals were such a huge part of my life. If I ever went missing as a kid, you know you could find me where the pets were. I grew up with two dogs of my own who were my best friends in the world. My obsession with animals only grew as I got older and was able to find jobs that allowed me to be around them all the time. Since I was 14 years old, I’ve been working with animals in professional settings. Starting with puppy-sitting, and growing into so many different ways. I’ve worked in daycare and kenneling facilities, done my fair share at dog groomers and even managed to work my way into veterinary medicine. Your fur-babies have always been such a huge part of my life and I’m so grateful for the opportunity to get to be their friend.

Maddi was WONDERFUL with Oscar! We adopted Oscar in 2023. He is fear reactive and takes time to warm up to new people. Maddi was super patient with him and evidently knew how to assure him that she was no threat. In no time they were buddies! Oscar had a great time staying at home! Maddi sent updates and pics of them snuggling on the sofa and playing football in the yard. The day we got home, he kept going to the guest room to look for her. Maddi showed up on time, spent lots of time with Oscar, and was very respectful of our house. Everything was as we had left it. No mess, no dirty dishes! We will definitely hire Maddi again!
I Highly recommend Maddi for any type of pet sitting! She is so amazing! Maddi worked for me here @furrwoods kennels and I cannot sing her praises high enough! She is responsible, caring and amazing at handling things under pressure. Maddi has a way with dogs that comes naturally. As a kennel owner there have been challenging days, rather it be hyper dogs or crazy weather, Maddi was always right there helping any way she can. Something I realized really quick with her was that if she said she would be there she was there right on time! I would leave my animals in her care in a heartbeat! Maddi has watched my family's cats several times now, as well as my pet parakeet, and has done a stunning job each and every time. She was respectful of our home and space and took the time to play with each animal, checked their food and water frequently, and sent us updates whenever asked. We came back to a clean house and happy-as-can-be pets, she really is a great worker!
I’ve been lucky enough to work along side Maddi handling dogs for years, and I can confidently say there is no one else I recommend above her for any animal care needs. She is not only well versed in animal body language, communication, and handling, but she approaches every animal with love, compassion, and the willingness to always go the extra mile no matter a dogs size, age, past, or temperaments. Maddi is a textbook example of exactly who you want to be taking care of your fur babies, I not only trust her with my dogs life but probably my own too ;)
