Growing up my family always owned one or two golden retrievers at a time and instantly fell in love with the breed. I worked at a dog boarding/day care facility for about 3 years. I’ve worked with many different types of breeds along with all sorts of temperaments. With that came taking care of dogs of ALL ages. I’ve handled up to 15 large dogs at a time, also handling cats. Absolutely loved my job and hope to continue working with animals:)

I was lucky enough to grow up with a mom that did full time pet sitting at one point and got to tag along on all her trips. I also pet sit for family and friends. Including overnights, walks, and administering medications, eye drops, pills, ect. So, I know how important it is to be mindful of someone’s else’s home and their four-legged (sometimes three) loved ones.

Madalynn is communicative as far as her updates and has a wonderful demeanor with our dog Rosie. I know Rosie is in great hands during her walks!

She handled daily responsibilities such as feeding, walking, cleaning, and monitoring playgroups with attention to detail and a calm, compassionate demeanor. Madalynn was particularly skilled at reading canine behavior and ensuring a safe and fun environment for all the dogs in our care. Madalynn has been watching/taking care of my pets when my family goes out of town for the last 5 years. I have 3 pretty needy dogs and she goes above and beyond to make sure they’re well taken care of. I never have to worry when she’s taking care of them because I know she cares for them as if they were her own dogs. When i first got my puppy, he was a little scared and standoffish, so I was a little nervous to leave him. He instantly liked and trusted Madalynn, which definitely helped ease my nerves, as well as my puppy’s. Overall, there’s really no one else I would trust more to take care of my dogs, she does an outstanding job everytime!
Madalynn has watched my boxer puppy, Oakley, several times and she always takes amazing care of him. Caring for Oakley comes with special instructions due to his disability and Madalynn exceeds those expectations. She is very responsible and shows him lots of love!
Madalynn has watched my dog (and fish) several times while I'm away on vacation, and she has done a wonderful job every time. She always listens to any specific instructions I leave for her, which tends to be a handful since I have an older lab with many needs. She has an energetic and fun personality, and is very engaged when playing with my dog. Madalynn has proven time and time again that she is professional and reliable to work with, and truly cares for the pets she looks after.

Schedule
I work at a School in Grand Haven, Monday-Friday till around 4p.m. (Sometimes later) So, my evenings are open to walks & drop-ins. My weekends are still available for house sitting, drop-ins, and walks! In the summer there is lots more availability!
