My name is Madalena, and I have a twelve-year-old daughter named Victoria. I grew up with German Shepherds and Huskies, and I have done an Equestrian course. I volunteered for twelve years for several NGO’s with hundreds of underprivileged children, and in recent years, I have founded an American branding company that works with animal welfare organisations and sustainable brands. We had also the privilege to have volunteered on animal shelters and NGO’s throughout the world. Since my work can be done remotely, in recent years, both my daughter and I have fulfilled our dream of travelling the world, but we felt that we were missing out on living surrounded by pets like I did in my childhood. We volunteered with abandoned dogs in Mexico and cats in Cambodia. We are passionate about taking care of animals. and we have been lucky enough to make great friends with several pets and pet parents and come back again and again. My daughter Victoria is even writing a book about the superpowers of pets and needs some inspiration :-)! We are based in the UK and would love to care for your pets. We look forward to hearing from you soon. Madalena and Victoria looked after my cats and flat for 2 weeks and were simply amazing! I couldn't have asked for better sitters. Theye were very reliable, friendly, clean and tidy. Communication was great beforehand and i got regular updates with cute pics while i was away. Most importantly for me was the fact that they clearly love animals. It was lovely to see how caring they were towards the cats! Oh, Madalena also took good care of my many plants. I honestly can't recommend them highly enough. They are welcome back anytime!
Madalena and Victoria looked after our cat Hector in September. I advertised on Trusted House sitters but had left it very late, and was thinking I would be lucky to receive any replies at such short notice. Madalena answered my request for a catsitter immediately and promptly booked a flight to get here as she was in Spain. What followed must have been a nightmare for her as the intermediary cancelled the flights she had booked with no notice and without telling her - and the next flight which she booked direct was also cancelled last minute. More complications followed. Throughout all this she remained determined to get here in time and not to let us down as she had made that commitment to looking after Hector. I cannot praise her commitment and perseverance enough; I am sure many people would have given up on being able to get here. Having arrived, she was full of love and appreciation for our cat and his quirky ways, sent us many photos and comments, and was an exceptionally good communicator. The flat was immaculate when she left, sheets washed and hung up to dry, kitchen cleaner than I'd left it. Most importantly, it was obvious from the photos and videos she sent that Hector was loving her company and responding very warmly to her. I had been slightly concerned for Victoria as he can be feisty at times, but Madalena assured me that Victoria is well used to reading the behaviour of cats and dogs, and the photos she sent demonstrated that he felt very much at ease in their company. He was relaxed in a way that he rarely is; the three of them had evidently developed a strong bond of affection in a very short space of time. Madalena is above all focused on looking after the animal in her care and asks questions where relevant so that she is well-prepared to meet their needs. Her communication skills are second to none. And my cat was extremely happy. All in all, a five-star experience; Thank you Madalena.

Schedule
I own 100% of my branding company, so even though I work every day from home, it is remotely and with all the flexibility and accessibility needed. Therefore I can be daily available for per care.
