I love dogs! I’ve taken care of neighbor’s and friend’s dogs and currently have one of my own. I have experience with puppies, older dogs, walking and training dogs on and off lead.

Mady is the most conscientious dog sitter we have ever had for several reasons! First, Mady sent daily updates on us on how Lucy was doing and sent photos of her as well. Also, knowing Lucy's love of walks, Mady took Lucy out for long excursions on her beautiful and extensive country property where Lucy was able to experience many new sights and smells! Furthermore, correspondence with Mady about drop off and pick up was always efficient and easy! Finally, it was comforting to know that Lucy was receiving kind and loving care the entire time we were away. Mady is our go-to dog sitter from now on! Highly recommended!
Mady took such great care of my dog and she even went above and beyond to make sure that my pet was comfortable and well taken care of. She really cares about animals and it showed. She was so nice, always on time and did a great job of sending pictures and updates of my dog. I will definitely rebook with Mady if she is available.

I have known Mady for a long time and she has watched my pets on multiple occasions. She is responsible, caring, and a true dog lover! She is always my first pick to watch our dogs when we travel.
Maddy's pup, Wally, and my pup, Spud, grew up together as covid pups; Maddy and I grew up together as furr-baby mamas. Maddy and Wally were (sad face) an integral part of our neighborhood and Charlottesville home. Maddy was a reliable friend for a Foxhaven walk with the boys or a "can you help me with Spud?" for work events or weekends. When Spud is with Maddy I can be fully present wherever I am becuase I trust wholeheartedly that he is being taken care of (and absolutely loving time with one of his besties). I have had the honor to witness and experience Maddy as an attentive, thoughtful, dedicated, fun, and loving mama and I can honestly say that your pup would be in loving, trusting arms with her :)

Schedule
I currently work only part-time, so I have a lot of free time on my hands. There are a few weekends or nights that I’ll be away, but we can book in advance.

I have a private house with tons of green space and corn fields. We have no visible neighbors, so your dog will enjoy a bit of the peaceful country lifestyle. My dog goes outside off-leash, but I can keep yours on to keep them safe.
Pets
A typical day
We can run around the yard, take a trip to Rose Hill or the trail at the museum. If your dog is more active, we’ll go on a local hike. We also have a bin full of toys and bones that Wally is (begrudgingly) willing to share.
