I may have a dog addiction...
I have worked with and cared for dogs and cats throughout my life, as well as a wide variety of other animals (including horses, goats, sheep, pigs, ducks, chickens, bearded dragons, turtles, birds, you name it). I have worked with dogs of every size, age, and temperament - I even cared for 30+ sled dogs for a winter in the Yukon! I do especially love dogs, and would love to meet yours. Of course I am also happy to meet your cats and other pets, dogs just hold a special place in my heart and always have.

I am currently only accepting walk and drop-in requests, though I will consider overnights if you are willing to consider me bringing my own dog - she gets anxious without me overnight and I prefer to be with her if I can!

Mad booked with us last minute for an overnight stay and treated our dog Ollie SO well. We got regular updates throughout the weekend as well as pictures of Ollie and found him happy and well-fed when we got home (he is notorious for refusing to eat when we are away, so that was a very good sign). Hope to book with Mad again!
Mad has always done a great job, and this time was no exception!! She keeps us informed and sends lots of pictures so we don’t have to worry about our dog while we are gone…
We so appreciated the care and time that Mad spent with our pooches. This was our first time with Rover, and she made this such a pleasant experience, and I could tell that our boys felt right at home with her. We will absolutely use Mad on our next day adventure. Thank you Mad!!!

Schedule
I am flexible and do my best to accommodate changing schedules and needs on a weekly basis. I am often available on short notice if timing is flexible, just reach out and ask! I often have free time built into my day to accomodate last minute requests.

- I'd like to know any behavioral quirks or issues, as well as any of their needs (food, attention, exercise, medications, training, etc.), and any relevant parts of their history (i.e. if they have been abused in the past - it happens with rescues! - or have any triggers, fears, or off-limits activities). I'll happily care for any breed or age, and am happy to accommodate high-strung or "difficult" dogs - I fully understand that some dogs need extra time and patience, and I'm happy to provide that!
