Experienced animal lover!
I’m a professionally trained animal caregiver offering reliable, high quality care for pets of all kinds. I hold a Veterinary Assistants Certificate, as well as multiple years of experience in dog and cat behavior, first aid, emergency response, and administering medications. Including care for pets with long term medical conditions. In my free time, I volunteer with WCGHS in their shelter and in the community. I’ve also volunteered with Best Friends Animal Sanctuary and the Salt Lake City Humane Society, working with animals of all temperaments, including reactive and behaviorally sensitive dogs. I have two rescue dogs and one cat of my own, including one pup with epilepsy. I bring a calm, confident energy that helps pets feel safe and supported. Safety, trust & environment
I’ve never met an animal I didn’t get along with! I am willing to watch/walk multiple pets at a time and can adapt to any preferred schedules or practices you have for your pets. I also keep owners updated with regular messages and photos for peace of mind. My goal is to ensure every pet feels safe, happy, and well cared for while in my care.
Ratings and reviews
Macynn did a wonderful job taking care of my high needs husky. She stayed at the house and gave her the attention she requires. She was able to walk Molly (as she can be reactive) in the neighborhood and be attentive to her triggers. When I returned the house was spotless and Molly was great! I would highly recommend Macynn.
Maccyn did a excellent job taking care of arlo, she kept in constant communication with us regarding Arlo's day, which put us at ease. Thank you, Maccyn—we will definitely hire you again.
Macynn did an amazing job taking care of our two high energy boxers. They had a great time while we were gone and it is so great to come home to a clean house and happy dogs (and kitty)! We will definitely use her again!! It was very reassuring, knowing our babies were so well cared for and happy during our absence! Thank you Macynn ❤️
Fantastic sitter! Capable, compassionate, and detail oriented. Will book again!
Macynn was so great with our doggos. Our oldest has occasionally been starting minor scuffles when stressed and Macynn handled it perfectly the first day after we left. She communicated frequently and sent pictures without being prompted. She stayed at our house and left it exactly as we did. I could barely tell she'd stayed at all. Would recommend Macynn to everyone and will definitely be booking again in the future. Thanks Macynn!
She really was amazing and spoiled my boys as much as I do. She kept everything clean. I will be using her over and over!

Schedule
My availability varies, but am able to provide potty breaks at least every 2hrs. I am flexible and willing to adapt to your schedule :D
- Cats0 to 15 lbs16 to 40 lbs41 to 100 lbsover 101 lbsMacynn can host up to 1 pet per night
- Preferences and triggers are important info for me to know! I have experience with reactive or picky dogs and don’t mind paying extra attention, but knowing what the causes are and how I can avoid them is vital! For ex: If pup is reactive to other dogs, or if kitty will only eat from a special bowl.
