Preferences and triggers are important info for me to know! I have experience with reactive or picky dogs and don’t mind paying extra attention, but knowing what the causes are and how I can avoid them is vital! For ex: If pup is reactive to other dogs, or if kitty will only eat from a special bowl.
A typical day
I love to exercise and be outside. I’m game for fetch, a walk, tug of war or going for a swim! I always tailor activities to each pet's needs and preferences, making sure they have fun while staying safe and comfortable.

I’m a professionally trained animal caregiver offering reliable, high quality care for pets of all kinds. I hold a Veterinary Assistants Certificate, as well as multiple years of experience in dog and cat behavior, first aid, emergency response, and administering medications, including care for pets with long-term medical conditions. I currently work part-time at a dog boarding facility. In my free time, I volunteer with WCGHS in their shelter and in the community. I’ve also volunteered with Best Friends Animal Sanctuary and the Salt Lake City Humane Society, working with animals of all temperaments, including reactive and behaviorally sensitive dogs. I have two rescue dogs and one cat of my own, including one pup with epilepsy. I have fostered kittens, cats, and medically and behaviorally complex dogs. I bring a calm, confident energy that helps pets feel safe and supported. You and your pet’s safety, comfort, and well-being are always my top priority.

Macynn was so great with our doggos. Our oldest has occasionally been starting minor scuffles when stressed and Macynn handled it perfectly the first day after we left. She communicated frequently and sent pictures without being prompted. She stayed at our house and left it exactly as we did. I could barely tell she'd stayed at all. Would recommend Macynn to everyone and will definitely be booking again in the future. Thanks Macynn!
She really was amazing and spoiled my boys as much as I do. She kept everything clean. I will be using her over and over!
Did an amazing job of taking care of my two pups. Especially with one being dog aggressive she took extra precautions and did everything I asked. She sent me tons of pictures which I loved and was a very good at communicating. She stayed the night and had the house as I left it and even washed my sheets and made my bed after! All in all I’d recommend macynn for all your dogs needs will be going back for sure!
