No breed preference. All dogs are wonderful! I would like to know if they have any behaviors or triggers that may make them uncomfortable or reactive (do they not like children, bikes, other dogs, leashes, squirrels, etc.) Can your dog have treats? Any food sensitivities? Food motivated? Do they like being pet? Dogs are individuals, anythig specific I should know about your dog?
A typical day
I can take you dofs on hikes, to the dog park, around your neighborhood, where ever best suits you and your dog. Since the weather is so hot and pavement can burn their feet, I think avoiding midday street walks is best.

Over the past year I have been job shadowing with a dog trainer, volunteering at animal santuaries and shelters, and studying dog behavior through books and observation to be able to provide the best care possible for your dog! I worked as a dog walk, and care giver for while in Bellingham but recently moved back home to beautiful Spokane. Taking care of dog has been the most fullfilling job I have ever had. Previously I was a holistic health counselor but being able to apply healthy behaviors to dogs has become my focus. Dog are such special animals and deserve to be treated with unlimited kindness, patience and love. The dog trainer I job shadowed would say, "it's not okay to hurt a dog, not even their feelings" and ever since it has been my motto.

So far in her adult life, Kenzy has volunteered at animal shelters and animal-rights nonprofits with a mission to provide dogs and other critters the resources needed to improve their lives. Knowing how she has worked with other dogs as a dog walker, and her training techniques with her own pup, I am confident that anyone requesting her services will be more than pleased!
MacKenzy is one of the best dog sitters I've ever come across! She has an immense love for dogs and takes her job very seriously and professionally. I've never had a happier pet to come home to after a day of her care!
MacKenzy has been looking after my rottie Jim while I've been out of town for work. I feel safe knowing my best friend is being cared for so lovingly while I'm away. MacKenzy accomodates the high standard of care I can't personally give my boy for these five weeks and even sends me daily pictures of the hikes he needs. She's the best caregiver I've ever had.
Mackenzy Peterson is so amazing! My dogs can be a lot to handle since they are so high energy and she saw to them with so much love and patience. You can tell she has a great passion for dogs and I will most definitely be using her again!
