Your Pet's New Favourite Person!
I have hands-on experience caring for dogs, cats, and other pets through my own pet care business, Kenzie’s Canine Club. I provide dog walking, drop-in visits, house sitting, pet sitting, basic grooming services, and dog training support, and I’ve worked with pets of different ages, personalities, routines, and comfort levels. I’m also trained in dog training and have experience working with dogs who may be nervous, excitable, strong on leash, or unsure of new people. I believe in giving every pet the time and space they need to feel comfortable and using patient, positive, reward-based handling. Pet care is something I take very seriously. I pay close attention to each pet’s individual routine, feeding instructions, exercise needs, behaviour, and safety, while also making sure they get plenty of affection, enrichment, and one-on-one attention. I know how important it is to trust the person caring for your pets, so I always aim to keep pet parents updated and treat every animal in my care like they’re part of the family.

Safety, trust & environment
Your pet's safety and comfort are always my top priority. I take the time to learn each pet's boundaries, temperament, triggers, and any special instructions before providing care, and I never force interactions with an animal who needs extra time to feel comfortable. I am careful with doors, gates, leashes, harnesses, and outdoor spaces, and I follow all household and care instructions closely. I also believe trust is built through patience and consistency, especially with nervous or cautious pet's. When caring for pet's in their own home, I respect bother their space and yours. My goal is to create a calm, secure environment where your pet can relax and feel comfortable while you are away.

I’ve known Mackenzie wars closely for a couple years now and I know she takes very good care of the dogs she has owned, as well as dogs she has babysat. Her husky is in great health and get more than enough exercise and walks as the breed requires. She is well experienced in walking dogs and is perfect for this job.

Schedule
My schedule is flexible, which allows me to offer pet care throughout the week, including mornings, afternoons, evenings and weekends. Since I run my own pet care business, I'm able to plan my schedule around my clients and their pet's individual routines. I offer both regular reoccurring care and occasional bookings, and I'll always do my best to accommodate last minute bookings when my schedule allows. Whether your pet needs a midday walk, a drop-in while you're at work, or care while you are away, I focus on keeping their routine as consistent and comfortable as possible.

- Before caring for your pet, I'd love to know anything that helps me get to know them better! this includes their usual routine, favourite activities, quirks, fears or triggers, how they are around other animals and people, and any behaviours I should be aware of. Please also let me know about any medical conditions, allergies, medications, dietary restrictions, mobility needs, or special care instructions. For dog's, it is helpful to know about their leash behaviour, recall, reactivity, and whether there are certain situations we should avoid on walks. And don't forget all the fun stuff - favourite treats, toys, walking spots, cuddle preferences, and all those little things that makes your pet, your pet! The more I know about them ahead of time, the better I can personalize our time together
