Hello! I am Mackenzie and I am 24 years old. I have been working with dogs my entire life. I’m currently a surgery intake nurse at MVS (Memphis Veterinary Specialists and Emergency) I have worked at a previous vet clinic as a veterinary assistant and several kennel positions from 2017. I have gained lots of experience with breeds and special needs dogs because of them. I do know how to perform cpr and do any possible medications. I also know how to deal with very nervous and or scared dogs that may need lots of time before they warm up. I only use positive reinforcement. I also have lots of experience with cats and any possible medications or special needs with them as well

I need someone very last minute and Mackenzie came through for me. This is the second time she has taken care of my cats and they love her. I highly recommend!
Mckenzie was great even my shy boy went to her the 1st time. I got pics every visit. Having Mackenzie doing drop in visits for my 2 cats allowed me to enjoy my vacation instead of worrying about my boys. I highly recommend her and will be using her again.

Schedule
I currently work 7:30am-5:30pm Monday Tuesday and Wednesday. I work 7:30am-4:00pm on Thursday with Fridays off. I do not work holidays or weekends. Depending on your location and how busy my work is I may be able to do a lunch time visit.

Safety, trust & environment
I unfortunately don’t have a fenced in yard but I do live right next to a very safe park and can provide rides to other exciting outdoor areas. My apartment is very dog safe. All animals are allowed on furniture and is strongly encouraged. I want my home to feel like it is theirs!

A typical day
I love to stimulate a dogs mind physically and mentally. I live close to many parks and love to be outside in nature. I would love to be able to take your fur baby with me!
