Hello! My name is Mack and I am a full time professional who knows the impact a pet can have. I work day to day with college students and at night I can be found in my home crafting or watching romcoms with my cat. I’ve had pets of all kinds in my home since I was a kid! Petsitting used to be a full time job and I have experience with dogs of all different temperaments! I have a special interest in enrichment and nutrition, so you can assure your pet is in good hands, no matter what their needs are. As an owner of a pet with special needs and a disability, I understand that every pet needs something unique! I am willing to learn all about your pet and what they need to thrive while you’re away.

I’ve used Mackenzie twice for checking on my sassy (low key can be mean) kitty and she’s been amazing with him and the detailed updates. He’s finally warming up and I’m so grateful for her patience to make that happen. Highly recommend
Mackenzie did a good job taking care of my cat’s basic needs (food, water, litter, etc). My cat is pretty aloof, a hider, and easily stressed by changes in routine so I appreciate Mackenzie’s patience with that. That said, I did feel that communication could have been better - particularly with a drop in that Mackenzie was over an hour late to. I was not made aware about how late she would be until the well into then scheduled drop in time. Obviously things happen and emergencies pop up, but I would have appreciated more of a heads up so I could potentially make other arrangements. Unfortunately, I do not have a “go with the flow” kind of cat and I do think it contributed to her overall stress in the situation. On the flip side, when my cat decided to hide a little too well during the next drop in, Mackenzie spent well over the allotted time looking for her and trying to make she was safe. She also offered to come back later and look again. I certainly appreciated the extra effort and offer of extra time. Ultimately, my cat was fine, fed, and safe which is the goal.
Mack was so patient and great with my not-so-friendly cat. So grateful for the check-ins and updates provided all week!
Mack did a great job with Chandler- sent us picks every day! Plus we’ve been able to have her multiple times now and it’s nice to have consistency!
Mackenzie was great! I needed a sitter last minute, and she was very accommodating and took great care of my cat Polly.

Schedule
I have a flexible schedule and I’m able to care for your pets throughout the day! Generally, I just need a few days notice to get you on my calendar. When booking housesitting, I flex my time at my job to ensure I can be present at your preferred times. I will also only book ONE other drop in or walk during that time to ensure I'm never away for more than four hours.

- Let me know about your pet’s daily routine, favorite toys, and typical behaviors. Whether your dog is particular or goes with the flow, I’m happy to help. I want to make sure that you know if anything is out of the ordinary! I typically ask for written instructions or video that serve as an agreement on what services I am providing! If you prefer, I can also do a meet and greet or video call where you explain your expectations. I will write them down and confirm with you to assure we are on the same page and that your furry friend is happy!
