Part Time Veterinary Assistant
Hi! I’m Mackenzie and I am a part-time veterinary assistant and dog and cat lover! I love walking & watching dogs simply because I love all dogs; big and small! I've never met a dog that I don't have the time or patience for, and while I love to have fun, safety is always my first priority! I've owned dogs all my life and I've never met a single one that I can't get along with! Whether your dog is playful or docile, large or small, or old or young, I'm sure that we'll be best buds! I also love spending time with cats, it doesn’t matter the type, they are all purrfect in my book! I understand that everyone has a busy life, and sometimes we don’t always have time to give our best friends the love they deserve, but I’m here to help out as much as I can! I am more than happy to watch your fur babies and give them all of the love while you are away. As a veterinary assistant, I am very familiar with caring for animals that may have special needs, both old and young and everywhere in between! I am trained in medication administration of all types, injections, oral, etc. I can also trim nails or bathe your pet if you need me to, and if your pet is willing 😉

All animals deserve respect, even those that may be a little nervous around new people and may act aggressively. I will always treat your fur baby that way I treat my own regardless of the situation.

Mackenzie did a great job house sitting and taking care of two pets! She was able to administer medicine no problem, the house is clean, and the pets are happy! She was also great about checking in.
makenzie was great- responsible, came out to the house for a meet and great the day before our trip , sent pics while we were away, and left the house spotless. as far as i can tell the weekend was seamless for our 12 year old dog!
Mackenzie took wonderful care of our home and dog while we were away. Mackenzie was very responsive and provided daily updates. We would definitely book with Mackenzie again!

Schedule
PLEASE READ BEFORE CONTACTING ME: Since I work full time Monday - Friday, I am only able to let pets out every 6-8 hours. This also means I am unable to stay at your house full time during the week. NEED A LAST MINUTE SITTER? I can help! Any last minute housesitting requests that are within my 2 day scheduling window will be charged an extra $20 fee for one pet or $30 for multiple pets. I work full time Monday through Friday, but am more than happy to stop before and after work to check in or walk your pet! I have a pretty busy schedule, but keep my calendar up-to-date months out to ensure it is accurate!

- I require all pets that I sit to be rabies vaccinated. Please ensure you have up to date vaccination information as well as contact information for your vet and an emergency contact in case of emergency. While I am versed in all types of animal personalities, please let me know if your pet is aggressive or has shown any signs of aggression. Safety for both your pet and myself is my top priority.
