When it comes to walking outside, I double check collar/harness every time to ensure a secure yet comfortable fit that can't be slipped out of. I also know dog body language and signs of illness to monitor and keep people and pets safe!

A typical day
I'm a big fan of mental stimulation through games, training, puzzles, and scent activities! If physical exercise isn't doable for whatever reason, mental exercise will get the job done just as well!

Pet care experience
I've been taking care of dogs on my own since middle school. We've always had a family dog in the household as well as friends and neighbors who would need help with their little ones. I have a BS in Animal Science, have worked as an emergency vet assistant/triage tech for the last 3 years, and have some professional dog training experience. I currently have 2 guinea pigs, and a 2-year-old AND 1-year-old pitty/lab mix that love to come to work with me and go on all sorts of outdoor adventures! Needless to say, my life revolves around animals and I don't know what the world would be like without them! I would love to get to know your little one and be there for them (and you!) when needed!

Mackenzie is an incredible person and great with all animals. Seeing her with her own dogs I would trust mine with her any day. Her work ethic for everything is something to strive to. She puts her whole heart into every animal she meets and I know will love every dog she comes in contact with.
