Your Pet's New BFF
I've always had animals in my life, and I've been pet sitting for neighbors since I was little. I also volunteered with a service dog training organization and at my local SPCA, so I'm comfortable around all kinds of pets and personalities. As a UNC–Chapel Hill student, I don't get to be around animals as much as I'd like during the school year, so I genuinely love spending time with them whenever I can. I'm responsible, reliable, and will make sure your pets get plenty of love, attention, and care while you're away.

Ratings and reviews
Mackenzie cares for our dogs and cats whenever we are out of town. I think sometimes they are sad to see her go when we return. She takes great care of them all and manages their needs (foods, medicines, etc) without issue. Highly recommend.

Schedule
I currently work part-time, so I have a pretty flexible schedule and plenty of time to give your pets the attention they deserve. Spending time with animals is honestly one of my favorite things to do, so pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. Whether it's walks, playtime, cuddles, or just keeping them company, I'm happy to make sure they're well cared for while you're away.

Whether I'm caring for pets in my home or in a client's home, my goal is to keep their routine as consistent and comfortable as possible. I'll make sure they are fed on schedule, get plenty of exercise and playtime, and receive lots of attention and affection. I also understand that every pet is different, so I'm happy to follow any specific instructions regarding feeding, medication, walks, or routines. I want both pets and owners to feel comfortable and confident while they're in my care.
A typical day
Every pet is different, so I like to tailor activities to their personality and energy level! Whether it's long walks, playing fetch, tug-of-war, trips to the park, or just hanging out and getting plenty of cuddles, I'm happy to keep them entertained. I also love spending time outside, so active pets will get lots of exercise, while older or more relaxed pets can enjoy slower walks and quality one-on-one time. And of course, you can expect lots of pictures and updates while you're away!
