Cute Dogs over Gym Jogs
Since I’ve been working from home, I’ve become pretty sedentary. I was contemplating getting a gym membership, when I realized that I could walk cute fluffy dogs instead! So, here I am! I had a little white fluffy Maltese for fourteen years named Henry. I lost him due to complications with old age a couple of years ago, and have been too heartbroken to get another dog since. I have a TON of experience with little dogs because of him. I also regularly walk and babysit my friend's and family's pets, so I have many years of experience with different sizes and breeds of dogs.

I have a deep love for dogs and cats and a respect for their preferences, personalities, and autonomy. Care for pets is different, depending on the animal and the pet parents. My sister has three cats. One of them wants nothing to do with humans, and one needs constant attention and pets and cuddles. So, one gets left alone when I babysit and one gets lots of cuddles. One former client of mine had an old dog that liked to be left alone, but didn't want to be alone in the house. So I stayed around the house and didn't bother them much. A different former client had a puppy who wanted to go explore and go for long walks and sniff everything in sight. So that's what we did. It's different for every pet, every family, every household. I'm flexible, and enthusiastic, and hold the belief that while pets are only a small part of our world, to them, we are their whole world. They deserve to have their needs met, and to feel good about the interloper invading their space. I treat every animal with the respect they deserve. I also treat every household with the respect the home deserves. I always leave homes as I found them, or better. I would expect anyone entering my home to hold a degree of respect for my space, and I always offer that same respect in return.

Five stars doesn’t feel like enough for Mackenzie! We couldn’t have asked for a better person to take care of our dogs while we were away. We have a full house with four dogs, each with their own personalities, quirks, routines, and needs, and she picked up on who they were SO quickly. She spent tons of time actually engaging with them—playing outside, throwing their balls, and giving them plenty of attention and affection. We came home to four very happy, very well-cared-for, and appropriately worn-out dogs, which is about the best review they could give. 😂 Her communication was also fantastic. She sent us tons of pictures and videos throughout our trip, and it was incredibly reassuring to be able to see that everyone was happy and comfortable. I especially loved how quickly she started noticing and sharing the little things that make each of our dogs them. We felt completely at ease having Mackenzie in our home and caring for our crew, and we would absolutely trust her with them again. We’re so grateful we found her and would recommend her without hesitation!
We really appreciate Mackenzie watching our 3 cats for us on a last minute trip. She was super easy to book and we knew our cats were well cared for after her visit!
Last minute I really needed someone to see the cats while we were gone. Mackenzie was wonderful, I was able to book last minute with her, she eased my mind by sending me photos of all 3 cats. It was a very easy process talking with her and all the cats were well cared for. Would for sure recommend using Mackenzie for future visits!
Kenz was amazing!!! Our little puppy had just got fixed and we needed to go out of town for a wedding, which made us very nervous. Kenz was a 10/10 with Archie and giving us a peace of mind. She is bubbly and hilarious and Archie can’t wait to play with her again!!
I highly recommend Mackenzie mast as a Rover dog walker and sitter. She is one of the most caring, dependable, and trustworthy people I know. She truly loves animals and treats every pet like her own. Dogs naturally feel comfortable and safe around her because of her calm and loving personality. She is responsible, attentive, and always makes sure pets are well cared for and happy. Whether it’s walks, feeding, playtime, or extra cuddles, she goes above and beyond. She is also extremely respectful and reliable when caring for someone’s home. You can feel confident knowing your pets and home are in great hands with her. I have trusted her completely with my own pets without hesitation many times Any family would be lucky to have her caring for their furry loved ones.
Great pet sitter! I've used her for multiple vacations as a house sitter with our three cats. I always came back to a clean place with happy cats. A well-worth investment!

Zeitplan
I'm currently WFH with a flexible schedule, so I can adapt my daily or weekly routine to dog-walking or housesitting with ease. I would LOVE to get my steps in, or cuddle with a floof, or housesit somewhere I don't reside and take advantage of trying different restaurants. I don't currently have any pets, so this is my way of getting to pet cute fluffy animals and get paid to do it! Pretty sweet bargain.
