I have had a lifelong love for animals and years of hands on pet care experience. I grew up around golden retrievers and I started walking and sitting for family and friends in middle school. My own golden passed away when I was 26, and I currently have a 10 year old bunny, who I have had since she was a baby. I also previously lived with a roommate and her energetic australian shepherd for five years, so I am very familiar with the needs of high energy dogs. I also worked as a dog walker and pet sitter through Wag while living in Los Angeles for 3 years, which gave me experience with dogs of all sizes and temperaments. I am reliable, attentive, and truly enjoy spending time with animals.

When caring for pets in a client’s home, I always aim to maintain their usual routine to help them feel comfortable and secure while their owner is away. I make sure they are fed on time, have fresh water, get plenty of playtime, and go on regular walks. I follow any specific instructions, including medications or crate time, and keep the home tidy. For walks, I focus on safety, exercise, and giving each dog the attention they need. I also treat every pet like they’re my own and make sure they feel loved and cared for while their humans are away!

Mackenzie just spent 10 days with our dog and she was wonderful. She sent daily updates with photos and our dog looked so happy in every photo - he was clearly having the best time with Mackenzie!! She even bought Dexter a new toy that he loves. We will definitely book with Mackenzie again; she is amazing!
Mackenzie is amazing. She stayed in my home for a week with my German Shepherd on last minute notice. She sent me frequent updates and pictures and my German Shepherd Fido looked ecstatic. She left my house spotless and cleaner than I left it, and even left new a toy for my dog. I will definitely be using her again! I trust her completely with my home and my pup.
Mackenzie was remarkable. She was able to take on a short notice house sitting as a new-to-us Rover for a family emergency. She was prompt, highly communicative, and very loving with our pets. Highly recommended.
We returned home yesterday and have already booked with Mackenzie for our next trip! Our dog usually takes a while to warm up to new people, but was comfortable with Mackenzie within the first 20 minutes. While we were away, Mackenzie sent frequent updates, photos, and video, and was a super communicator. Highly recommend!
Mackenzie is very reliable, always on time, and I could tell my pup enjoyed spending time with her!
