I have a fairly flexible schedule and am more than willing to work with pet parents on days and times that work for them. My availability on the weekend may vary, but I am usually pretty open during the week.

Please let me know every little quirk about your pet(s). Do they always need three head kisses? Special way of taking treats? Do they love to do tricks or have a favorite scratch spot? Knowing the little things about pets is what I feel makes working with them so fullfilling. It’s wonderful to see every personality. Additionally, please let me know if your pet has any specialty care instructions for their food, or if they need medication. I have a diabetic cat myself and I know how anxious I can be if I’m not sure the person doing his insulin shot will do it well, that is an anxiety I wish to eliminate for the pet parents I work for :)
A typical day
I am happy to play with animals in any way they need! I do have some health issues of my own, however that doesn’t stop me from playing with them with toys or throwing a ball. I can definitely walk with them but I have a heart condition that makes running difficult, but not impossible!

Hello! My name is Kenzie and I am excited to be your pets friend!! I have experience with many different types of animals, as I’ve worked with neighbor and friends animals as well as at a petting zoo that over the last 14 years. Within that experience I have handled reptiles, rodents, small pigs, dogs and cats! There are obviously many animals I have yet to have a lot of experience with, but I am amazing at following well detailed instructions. I am happy and excited to get as many photos or check ins as makes each individual pet parent happy and comfortable. As an added bonus, my eldest cat has been on insulin shots twice a day for four years now. So I am familiar with handling animal’s for shots, and I’ve also had to administer pills as well. Thank you for your time and consideration!

Mackenzie did great with migi on his walk! He’s a leash puller but she didn’t seem to mind which was great. She seems very sweet and was also able to accommodate a VERY last minute booking which was awesome. Would def book her again!
I have known Mackenzie for several years. During that time, she has taken care of our house and cats several times. She has taken care of up to three cats from kittens to elderly cats, some requiring special care and medication, including trips to the vet. She has always taken excellent care of our cats, making sure they are fed regularly, their water and litter boxes cleaned often. She plays with them and keeps us updated on them, including sending us pictures and videos. I have seen her take care of her own cats, including one that requires both medication and special care. I have observed her with my son's dogs, and I know she also takes care of other types of animals. It is obvious to me that she is very responsible and that she loves and cares for animals of all types. I believe that she will take excellent care of pets in her care.
Kenzie has always treated my pets as if they were her own. She is incredibly kind, attentive, and thoughtful in the care she provides, and she always goes above and beyond to make sure my pets are comfortable, safe, and happy while I’m away. Her wide range of experience with different animals gives me complete peace of mind, knowing that no matter the pet, they are in knowledgeable and caring hands. I would highly recommend her to anyone in need of pet care, from quick drop-in visits to overnight stays.
