As a remote employee, I can be at home with your dog all day if needed. My only responsibilities that take me away from the home are my 2-4 hour volunteering shifts at the state park.

Let me know if your dogs are social or if they do not do well with other people or dogs. In general when I am sitting I do discourage strangers petting your dog or interacting with your dog in order to ensure maximum comfort for your pet, but it always helps to know more in advance!

I love to take pets out on walks, and hikes, if permitted. There will also be plenty of sessions of fetch, tug-of-war and general play. And of course spoil them with treats (within reason of course 😊)

I have owned four dogs in my lifetime and have now been working as a sitter on Rover for 3 years. Prior to starting with Rover I had ample experience dog sitting for family and friends. Although I work full time, I am remote and able to cater to your pets needs! I am an avid walker and adventurer and would love to take your dog with me. I am kind and patient and very capable of giving your pet the time and affection they need. I also have experience in a vet clinic so taking care of a dog that needs some extra care is no problem at all. I also have a lot of experience with cats, having owned 10 throughout my life. I love caring for kitties and giving them the attention they need and deserve! I have experience with old cats with special needs and am comfortable giving any aged cat medication.

Kenzie has been helping us for a few months now. She is great with all of the animals and handles them both on walks as well as in our home very well. She’s incredibly reliable and very communicative. We’ve had her stay at our home while we are gone as well as coming by for walks with one of the energetic pups. We are so glad to have found her!

Kenzie is amazing!! She was incredibly communicative and responsive throughout our time away from our fur baby, sending messages and photos of the fun they were having together. It gave us such peace of mind to know that Kenzie was taking such great care of our dog, and at our home day and night. She is detail oriented and caring, following our detailed instructions laying out our dog’s routine and preferences. We would highly recommend working with Kenzie and plan to use her as our primary pet sitter into the future!!
