Pre-vet graduate who loves pets!
What sets me apart from other pet sitters is that caring for animals isn’t just something I do, it’s been a huge part of my life for as long as I can remember! I have a Bachelor of Science from the University of Central Florida in zoology and pre-veterinary medicine, so I bring a strong understanding of animal behavior and health to every pet I care for. I’ve also been volunteering at my local humane society since I was 14, which means I’ve worked with all kinds of animals—shy, energetic, senior, special-needs, you name it. I’m especially patient and gentle with pets who might need a little extra time, whether that’s a playful puppy learning the ropes or an older pet who just wants a calm, comforting presence. More than anything, I truly love animals. I’ll treat your pet like they’re my own—lots of attention, affection, and making sure they feel safe, happy, and completely at ease while you’re away. Expect plenty of updates, cute photos, and a sitter who’s just as obsessed with your pet as you are!

Mackenzie is a true gem! She watched our two kitties for 5 days and did such a great job. Our home was immaculate and clean when we got back. She followed all of our instructions perfectly and was very communicative when we were away. We are so grateful to have found her and will be using her again in the near future :)

Pet care fits so naturally into my routine because, honestly, I miss having animals around every day! I moved to Denver about 10 months ago and absolutely fell in love with the city, but I definitely feel the absence of daily animal time! I currently work remotely for a construction company, which gives me a really flexible schedule throughout the day. While I enjoy my work, I’m genuinely excited to spend more time doing something I love: being around animals and giving them the attention they deserve! Because of my open and adaptable schedule, I’m able to provide care whenever you need it—whether that’s daily visits, overnight stays, or last-minute help. Your pet won’t just be “fit into” my routine—they’ll be a part of it, getting plenty of time, care, and love.

I live in an apartment with a fenced-in yard, so your pet will have a safe space to get fresh air and play. I also love getting outside, so I’m more than happy to take your furry friend on walks or runs around the community, tailored to their energy level and routine. Whether they’re super active or prefer a slower pace, I’ll make sure they get the exercise and attention they need throughout the day. I’m available for overnight stays, boarding, and drop-in visits in both my home or yours, depending on what works best for you and your pet. I do my best to keep their routine as consistent and comfortable as possible, so they feel relaxed and at home while you’re away. Feel free to reach out about any of the services Rover offers!
A typical day
I live a very active lifestyle, so I genuinely love spending time with pets of all energy levels, especially those who enjoy getting out and exploring. My neighborhood is perfect for walks, with plenty of beautiful parks and new places to sniff and explore. I also believe mental stimulation is just as important as physical exercise, so I make sure pets get lots of enrichment through play, sniff time, and new experiences. Whether that’s interactive toys, exploring new scents, or just engaging one-on-one time, I keep things fun and interesting! Of course, I also know when it’s time to slow things down. If your pet prefers cuddles, lounging, or a more relaxed routine, I’m just as happy to match their pace and give them all the love and attention they want while I work from my laptop during the day!
