I cared for my senior rescue dog for 3 years in this apartment before he passed on Christmas of last year. I cared for all of his health needs as I would my own child, and have continued to do the same for my friends pets ever since. I keep training pads, toys and dog food in my apartment at all times in case a friend is in need.

Of course, please let me know if your pet has any specific schedules to adhere to (walks, food, treats, meds). It’s always nice to know about your pets little quirks, preferences or dislikes, but please include as much detail as possible for any behavioral concerns or training needs. I’m comfortable with just about anything, but more info helps me help them! Please note: my availability and rates are adjusted slightly while boarding. This is based on the current pets needs. My calendar will updated accordingly on the first day of a new boarding.
A typical day
Pets are always comfortable, entertained, nurtured with me and in my home. I’ve cared for dogs of all breeds, ages, needs and personalities and never met one that I didn’t love and bond with. I keep extra toys and will play as much fetch and tug of war as they like. We take walks and play in the field behind my building or to Platt, Washington and cheesman parks.

Pet care experience
I have cared for every type of dog (mostly males) since I was old enough to walk. Growing up I had every kind of pet you could imagine, but dogs are a girls best friend. When I moved to Colorado in 2016 I adopted a rescue dachshund who I solely cared for and truly loved as a best friend and child. We spent 3 years in this apartment before he passed on Christmas of last year. I cared for all of his health needs as I would my own child, and have continued to do the same for my friends pets ever since, and would love to do the same for yours. I keep training pads, toys and dog food in my apartment at all times in case a friend is in need. Currently I am unemployed and preparing to move back to my hometown in New York in a few months. I’m currently always available for any pet care needs and very flexible!

Mackenzie was caring, thoughtful & went above and beyond with our 2 big dogs. She stayed in touch and sent pictures so we could see how happy and well they were doing. We will absolutely reach out to her again when the girls need babysitting.
