At the moment I do not have any other job. I have a very open and flexible schedule to help you with your pets. I am available for drop in visits and dog walks. At the moment I am taking a break and will not be accepting new request for house-sitting. Pet care is my full-time focus, and I am dedicated to taking care of your pet(s) and getting to know their little personalities. I love all animals and know how important they are to your family.

I have recently invested in pet insurance on top of Rover guarantee. This means if any emergencies do happen in my care I will be prepared! I will care for your pet(s) the same way you would. Every pet is different and I will follow any instructions the pet owners leaves. I will let your dog out, take them on walks, and make sure they get food and water. I cannot take dogs into my home. I'd prefer to have a meet and greet with new clients prior to the booked service. That way all important questions will be answered, and you and your pet(s) can get to know me better.

Let me know if your dog has any physical restrictions or if your pet has a sensitive stomach. I am able to give medications if your pet needs it, just need to know ahead of time. At our meet and greet I would like to know any emergency contact numbers and vet information to be prepare for any emergency. I would also like to know if your pet(s) has shown any aggression towards people/food/toys/animals. Also, I would like to know if you pet(s) has separation anxiety or any known fears, along with any past negative experiences with humans, or other animals. This information will allow me to take caution or avoid certain uncomfortable scenarios for your pet. Thank you! I look forward to meeting you and pet(s).
A typical day
I enjoy being outside and taking dogs or puppies for walks as much as I can. I will love to get to know your pet(s) and their normal routines. I will stimulate your pet physically and mentally with new smells around the neighborhood and new terrain. We will play fetch, and new games. I have always had a deep love and true passion for all animals, and I hope to meet your furry little family member soon!

Pet care experience
I studied at NTC as a vet tech student and made the decision to focus on pet care outside of the office. When I discovered Rover I absolutely fell in love. Not only do I have more time to spend with pets I am able to take care of their needs with some of the knowledge I acquired studying at NTC. I have worked at a vet clinic and at a horse boarding facility. I have multiple years of experience in helping neighbors and family friends take care of their dogs and cats. I have experience taking care of dogs, cats, horses, Guinea pigs, rabbits, and rats. And I am open to learn more about any other species and their care routine you may have in your family!

Our first time using River. We had a great experience. Mackenzie was very responsive, friendly and did a great job checking in on our cat every other day, while we were on vacation. We would not hesitate contacting Mackenzie again, the next time we need someone to check in on our kitty. Highly recommend!
