I have a very flexible schedule, which allows me to prioritize pet care. I do not work, and I only attend college classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays for most of the day. Outside of those hours, I am fully available for drop-ins, walks, and sitting. I also have reliable transportation, so traveling to clients’ homes is never an issue. I’m committed to providing dependable, consistent care and making sure pets receive the time and attention they deserve.

Before watching any pet, it is important for me to know their feeding schedule, diet, and any foods they cannot have. I also make sure to ask about medical needs such as allergies, medications, or health conditions. Understanding a pet’s behavior, temperament, and how they interact with people or other animals helps me care for them safely. I ask about exercise needs, training rules, and bathroom routines so I can keep their day as normal as possible. I also request emergency vet information and learn about any fears or comfort items, which helps ensure pets feel safe, happy, and well cared for while their owners are away.
A typical day
When I pet sit, my main goal is to make sure every animal feels safe, comfortable, and cared for while their owner is away. I will follow all feeding schedules, provide fresh water, and make sure pets get the right amount of exercise and playtime. I’ll also give them attention and affection so they feel less stressed and more at home. For dogs, this includes walks, potty breaks, and play, and for cats or other pets, it includes cleaning litter boxes, feeding, and spending quiet time with them. I will always respect the owner’s instructions and keep their pets happy and healthy.

I’ve had hands-on experience with animals my entire life, beginning with growing up surrounded by pets and later adopting my own dog at just 11 years old. From a young age, I’ve been pet sitting throughout my neighborhood, caring for animals of different personalities, routines, and needs. Over the years, this experience has taught me patience, responsibility, and how to make pets feel safe and comfortable while their owners are away. My lifelong passion for animals once inspired me to pursue veterinary medicine before I discovered my interest in understanding the human mind, but my love for animals has never changed. I treat every pet as if they were my own, providing attentive, loving, and dependable care you can trust.
