Aloha! My name’s Mackenzie and I genuinely love animals. I worked at a humane society in California where I grew up, and I’ve cared for many dogs and cats of all ages and personalities. I’ve lived on Oʻahu for the past three years, and I have two cats of my own. I also grew up around dogs, cats, and other animals, so being around pets has always been a huge part of my life. I’m comfortable with feeding routines, medications, supplements, walks, playtime, and more complicated care schedules. I know how important it is to trust the person caring for your pets, and I treat every animal with patience, love, and attention like they’re my own 🐾

Mackenzie was an incredible pet sitter for my dog. While he has passed now, Mackenzie watched and cared for my old dog in the final years of his life. She was incredibly attentive of his needs and provided him with lots of love and joy. Mackenzie was always responsive during scheduling and communicative while both caring for my pet and in planning to. I always trusted that my dog would be safe and feel loved while I was away and he was with Mackenzie. While she mainly watched my dog, I highly recommend her as a pet caregiver for other animals as well. I have a few cats and Mackenzie has always given them the same attention and care as my dog. Overall, Mackenzie is a responsible and loving caregiver that you should feel confident in hiring!
I have always gone to Mackenzie to take care of my dogs and cats and house sit for my animals. She is so caring, responsible, and trustworthy, and my pets have always loved her. I’m honestly so sad she moved away to Hawaii because she’s the best and it’s hard to find someone who cares about animals the way she does.
Mackenzie has always been willing to watch our pets on short notice for both quick and easy feeds, all the way to long term vacation stays. I’m an animal lover who always has at least three pets, and I always come back and find my pets to be taken care of with care and grace. My jobs for Mackenzie range can range from distributing medical diets to my cats, to entertaining my rambunctious kittens, and I have never come home unsatisfied with Mackenzie’s hard work.

Dates de la garde
I work in Waikīkī, so I’m available for drop-in visits before and after work and on my days off. For boarding, I’m typically away for about 6 hours during my shift. Your pet will get plenty of attention, exercise, and care before I leave and as soon as I get home. I’m happy to be flexible with drop-off and pick-up times whenever possible. I follow feeding schedules, walks, medications, litter box cleaning, and any instructions carefully. I’m also very communicative and like to ask questions and be thorough so I fully understand your pet’s routine, personality, and needs. I know how important trust is when someone is caring for your pets and in your home, so I always try to be reliable, respectful, and communicative. I currently only offer boarding for cats. Visiting cats stay in their own private room, completely separate from my two resident cats, to help everyone feel safe and comfortable. For longer stays, if both cats seem interested and ONLY if the owner is comfortable with it, I may allow short, supervised play sessions to help with enrichment and socialization.

I like to stick to each pet’s normal routine so they feel as comfortable and stress-free as possible. Whether that means walks, playtime, cuddle time, enrichment toys, or just relaxing together, I tailor my care to each pet’s personality and your instructions. My goal is to make their stay feel as close to home as I can.
