I’ve been a proud dog mom for the past 4 years to my lovable Lab, Winston, and grew up with my family’s English Springer Spaniel who lived to be 16. I’ve cared for dogs and cats of all breeds, ages, and personalities (from energetic puppies and kittens to mellow senior pets) and have had dozens of happy clients through Rover and my Northwestern grad school community in Evanston. I’m home most of the day thanks to my flexible post-grad school schedule before I start full-time again in Sept, and I pride myself on great communication. You will always get photo updates and peace of mind while you’re away! 💛🐱🐶

Both we (the humans) AND our dog loved Mackenzie! She was kind, communicative, and so caring towards our senior dog who stayed with her over New Year’s. We loved her regular updates, including photos and videos, and it was clear that my dog wanted to stay longer when I came to get him! 11 out of 10 stars, recommend with gusto!
Mackenzie was an absolute star, despite the last minute booking she was super accommodating and had no issues even though I sent a lot of instructions. She was really professional and seemed to have a lovely energy; plus Kylo seemed really happy and very well cared for. Would definitely recommend!

Highly Recommend! Mackenzie exceeded our expectations while caring for our dogs in our home. She is a very kind, loving, super-responsible care-giver with an amazing instinct. She not only mastered a very complicated medication schedule for our younger dog, she quickly identified a concern with our senior dog and worked closely with me to ensure he received proper, immediate care while we were away. She earned their trust and bonded with them very quickly. Her timely, daily updates reflected her ability to communicate what really matters to us as dog owners: their health, their spirit, their safety. This truly enabled us to relax and enjoy our time away. We came home to wagging tails! She was very flexible and accommodating with scheduling and she took exceptional care of our home. We absolutely recommend Mackenzie for your pet-sitting needs.

Schedule
I’m on summer break after completing my MBA from Northwestern so I have a very flexible schedule. I’m home most of the day and can easily fit in walks, playtime, and potty breaks throughout the day. I take my own dog, Winston, on four walks a day and would love to have another furry friend join us (or am happy to do solo walks)! I’m available for walks and drop-ins during the week and on weekends.
