Pet care experience
Hello! I’m Mackenzee!
Over the years I’ve had many different pets I’ve owned and taken care of. I am very experienced with small/ medium sized dogs. Recently my dog has passed away after 13 amazing years. He was dependent on insulin and I was his primary caregiver. I have a great amount of experience with special needs and health dependent animals. Their physical health always comes first no matter what age the animal is. This includes being walked on a daily basis and playing with them. I treat all pets as if they are humans when it comes to caring for them. I would prefer to take care of your pets within your home or within mine. Included in each visit is a 30 minute walk and play time once returning back. For cats it would be 30 minute to 1 hour of socializing. I respect other peoples property at all times and will always keep you updated on when I am entering the house and if anything happened during my time of visit. Once leaving your property, the environment will be left clean and organized. I will ensure your pet has water and nothing around to cause mischief.

Mackenzee was great... super reliable and accommodating in picking up my little buddy. My dog Joe came home with tail wagging and a big happy smile. Would definitely use Mackenzee again!
I almost don't want to leave a review because I want Mackenzee to always have lots of availability for us! Our little dog, Goose, loves Mackenzee and her boyfriend. We did a trial run before Goose stayed with them overnight and beelined straight for their place as soon as we got out of the car for the second visit. Mackenzee is so sweet to him (even giving herself a bad sleep because he decided to sleep on her pillow!) and we know he's in good hands with her

Mackenzee is amazing with Nico. He is always delighted to see her. I knew he was in good hands when I left him with her for 3 days. She is flexible and quick to respond. All in all I have had a great experience and highly recommend her:)

Schedule
I currently am a university student and work part time as a server. There is plenty of time to come visit your pet and take care of it in between. Being around animals is a great way for me to relieve my stress from studying and gives me a chance to take a break to have fun with your pup

Safety, trust & environment
I have a fully fenced in backyard with lots of room to run and play. When your dog enters my home, they are free to roam and never stuck in one area. I always ensure there is nothing laying around to cause mischief with and constantly keep watch on your pup.
Pets
A typical day
Dogs need to be stimulated not only physically but mentally as well. I love to go on walks whether is around the neighborhood or on a nice trail by the water. Each dog walk with range from 30 minutes to 1 hour depending on the dog. I also love when dogs play with their favourite toys and I’ll be sure to do some tricks with them as well. It’s very rewarding when you see a pet learn something new!
